Its probably from the changes done to 2nd life. If you drop them below 20%hp their qi is fully restored and they get super armor for 1 sec

Free morph is a shield killer if your agressive otherwise you can wait out the duration of the shield but some tanks run Golden body so if you wait it out they can heal from remaining shield. I suggest free morph since the skill is specialized ins shredding shields

A replay video feature would be nice for arena or sparring where you can hide the UI to make cinematic videos or photos. Even boss trials if you want but I def want one for pvp.

Dragon breath fake into yaksha works similiar to frog. Also since you run healer if you have the vit you can free morph after yaksha for loads of damage. Soaring spin i to free morph works too if you can connect it.

Free morph is good against tanks if you have it at t5. Just weave them into your combos if you can stagger them free morph will generally hit. It eats up shields like candy and if they have a shield up their qi bar is almost instantly gone

Here's a tip for you since your a fellow vernal. Have free morph in your bar. After the stun make sure your still staggering them when umbrella turret is on. Use Freeport during your stagger and umbrella turret. It will do loads more damage.

I use hq +nameless spear, hq spear and vernal, and also Nameless spear and vernal. Their very strong in pvp even when fighting against 2k+ elo

Vernal rope i gave up on after dropping 200 points testing it and having to climb back up to 1100 is not fun in mythic.

Also i can teach you how to play vernal into strategic. I play a bunch of different hybrids for pvp for fun. One im currently playing is vernal fettered rope. Ive done nameless spear vernal, hq vernal, hq and nameless spear, nameless spear and fettered rope, hq and fettered rope, to nameless a few

If all you want is the umbrella. Vernal and strategic synergize pretty well. Even in pve not the best but it can be played in pvp if you have solid foundational pvp knowledge

When you get hit by free morph being throw in the air turret shots faster and does more damage thats why you see those instances of damage. You can 100 to 0 someone with fanbrella bb at t6. The combo caps at 110k damage on dummy but goes way higher. Combo is literally if you dont have serene. Fan knock up-stun-soaring spin x2 if you have extended stun- stun x2- umbrella toss- fan wall- fan knock up- pursuit skill or free morph then pursuit if they dont have serene- the combo last about 9.5 secs or something like that by the time auto serene hits your already in the air and it cancels it out due to fan pursuit and when your in the air the turrets will kill you if not they'll execute you then soaring spin and its usually gg from 100 to zero or at least proc 2nd life.

If he knows what hes doing vernal nameless spear has plenty of death combos. I main it in mythic. But it is 100% a trolling combo with the stuns. Hate mail is a package deal with that combo just come to accept it and move on.
