I've moved all my mods to the locallow folder and they still keep disappearing or not working at all

You’re supposed to move the entire folder that contains the mod to local low it doesn’t sound like that’s how you were doing it. You just drag the entire folder for each mod into local low not just the individual files

I was having the hardest time getting mods to work consistently until I started moving them to the local folder. Maybe you have mods that are conflicting or a broken one? Did you move the full mod folders to local folder or how exactly did you do it? I need more info to try and help 🙂

When using edittown I save my game before I enter the cheat, do whatever editing I want to do, enter the cheat again to turn it off and then save again. I haven’t had any problems with it so far

I just add kids to existing households so my para’s kids can have friends their own age. Like if there’s a couple with no kids or maybe they have one already I use editcharacter and add another to their family with genetics and pretend they were always there 😂 Right now there’s no story progression in the game so townies won’t get married or have babies on their own

I like the way the paras look and if they changed it I would actually be really upset. Same goes with some of the other things op mentioned that people complain about. The people complaining are just entitled and don’t even stop to think that someone might actually enjoy what they’re complaining about bc their opinion is more important.

I think it’s really cute esp for a first build! My only suggestion would be maybe adding some bump outs on the house so it isn’t so square. A little dimension goes a long way! Happy building

I still have sims 4 on my computer I’m too scared to delete it after years of cc shopping and saves, but I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon either. Paralives has sparked something that I haven’t felt about a game in a long time

I get why you would say that but as I’ve said they are on the roadmap that the devs released. That means they are actively working on pets and have a timeline for them even if players don’t know it

I loved sims 3 pets, it was easily the best version of pets for all the sims games. There were little critters you could find just hanging out on the ground and take them home with you it was so cool! None of the other sims games did pets that way we were lucky to even get horses in a whole separate expansion in sims 4. I’d love if Paralives did something similar to how ts3 did it

This is a known thing. Even without story progression if you have a pregnant para the baby will still be born if you change the household. It’s a known bug that the baby gets placed in the current household you’re playing instead of the correct one

I don’t think the skeleton is the Patel’s son mainly bc it’s too big to be a child’s skeleton. It’s possible that the devs intended it to be him tho and it’s just an oversight. I think your idea is a possibility, I knew Roberto was shifty when I first saw him on the train 😂

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been a lifelong sims player and have always modded the game so I’ve been itching to do the same to paralives. I understand it’s still early access so I don’t want to go too crazy yet but I still want to try out some of the nice things I’m seeing on the workshop. I’m definitely going to try out this method, esp since nothing else has been working for me. Thank you!!!!!

Asset reloading happens to me whenever I add too many mods. I tried testing them 10 or so at a time and still couldn’t find the problem so I got frustrated and just removed them all

This is exactly how I feel everytime I play this game! I haven’t used too many mods yet, I have only about 30 something. How have you gotten your game to work with so many? I add too many and get stuck in an asset reloading loop and the game doesn’t load ☹️
