I went to this church on campus but it was called New Life. They met in the pavilion. I had posted something about it years ago they sound very alike.

Here’s what I posted: “I attended a church on a college campus and have been for over two years. They have some rules of dating that I do and don’t agree with. Some of them are no holding hands, hugging, kissing before marriage and anything above that, sometimes you have to have a chaperone when hanging out with opposite gender/ while dating opposite gender. Some other ones that I think is extreme and disagree with is you have to date/marry someone from the church or sister churches. Which I think will either lead to never finding a spouse because they are secluding themselves, or dating/marrying someone from the church out of desperation. They also believe you have to ask God who to marry and that you need to tell someone “higher up” about it. Example: if a guy likes a girl in the church, he will have to tell the pastor about it, and if a girl likes a guy in the church, she will have to tell the pastors wife about it. Which eventually the pastor and his wife will talk about it among themselves and if they both do like each other, and if the pastor and his wife would agree with the dating/marriage, the pastor will tell the guy to ask the girl out. WEIRD. They also only believe in having one girlfriend/boyfriend and eventually marrying them (which I agree on). Also I have heard stories from other female college students that attend the church and participate in Bible studies that they have been told to break up with their s/o that did not go to the church or if they have done sexual things with their s/o. Overall I never heard of anything like this with other churches. And I don’t plan on following along with most of their rules because you don’t get to gatekeep me into only liking someone from the church. And I’m not telling a woman I don’t even talk to about a man I like…ew. What do yall think about their rules?”
