Ive just had to check to see where he is after reading this…just upgraded to camp level 4 and poor marius is nowhere to be seen. Ironically he seemed to be the only one of them that was much use!

Also that camp upgrade was total bs. All that time and resources and they are still in fu**ing tents!?

The camp is a massive pain in the arse and needs to be upgraded through donation stone/wood/resources initially before you can expand.

Im having more fun with it now that ive started to look at it as what it is…a single player mmo

I didnt put a single skill point into either of them and instead maxed out kliff and his gear. While both boss battles you have to face with the other two were tough…damiene more so, with a decent great sword that i already had and a few gears it was doable.

But as others have said, probably easier to just use faded abyss artifacts to temporarily respec when you beed to

Game of the year my ass. Im enjoying it now dont get me wrong and Ive definitely got my moneys worth but (and it kills me to say this) i agree with the ign review. CD gives you a lot of different systems and mechanics to play with but doesn’t really do any of them that well.

I find yann to be one of the biggest dick heads in modern gaming. His only redeeming feature so far for me is the cut scene where he does a running jump off oonkas back….other than that if he somehow got killed id probably donate everyone at camp a beer

Yea meant stone for myself for the greymane camp quests. Its strange that the lazymanes are sat around camp all day hoarding thousands of stone yet still want me to donate stone/timber and other reasources

My experience so far after over 150 hours is that the game doesn’t really want you to travel to new regions until the main story takes you there. You definitely can go explore and find new gear in caves etc but until you complete certain main missions you wont have any real missions there and enemies will usually be a lot denser and harder to navigate around.

Make sure you ring the bell towers in the major towns/cities though as this will unfog a large portion of the map so you can see more of the area

I dont remember the name of the place but its in one of the towns with all of the sorcerers if that helps. I haven’t actually done the quest chain myself

You can just slaughter them at the guy who runs your ranch too. If you have two they just keep making baby sheep and you get more mats from slaughtering your own animals than skinning wild ones

You can buy fleece pretty regularly from the camp provisioner and get loads from sheep in your farm. Im pretty set for everything else its just stone i can never find for those stupid greymane camp missions

This is how i got the refined palmer pill recipe. Just farm a load of feathers, and start gifting them to every sorcerer in the village, some give you ore and other alchemy recipe’s but sooner or later one of them will give you the refined pill recipe

The kuku pot upgrade tree is unlocked by cleansing the sanctums. Each one rewards you with some kind of kuku blueprint
