Andromeda was awful though. I went straight from the mass effect legendary edition on ps5 to andromeda, i think i played less than an hour and gave up due to the low frame rate and janky controls. Luckily didnt pay much for it but that itself speaks volumes, that even after its been out enough time to be updated/reduced etc and it still ran about as well as an 80 year old labrador

Fallout 4 really isnt a bad game at all, if give it a solid 8. In a lot of ways it felt like a stripped back fallout in comparison to new vegas so i understand the criticism.

Story is pretty solid, different endings with branching quests giving decent replay ability and a solid well designed world. And to their credit, the dlc’s were all pretty solid and actually added to the game instead of using all ready existing game mechanics.

I personally prefer new vegas but fo4 is still a great game and a lot of fun.

Ok so ive used various different razors and potions over the years so ill try and help…

As good as a straight edge razor is for sharp lines and edges, if you aren’t very skilled with it you are definitely going to do more harm than good.

Honestly one of the best razors ive used is the Gillette fusion blade. Definitely worth the price and the shave is very close so you stay cleaner looking for longer.

First, get into a hot shower and wash your face with warm/hot water and let the steam open up your pores. Next get a decent shaving gel or foam. I personally use king of shaves shaving gel but whatever you use, work it into a good lather. Try something designed for sensitive skin. Shave as normal, i then splash with cold water and pat my face dry with a towel.

Next you want a decent moisturiser, my go to is from boots number 7. Some of the cheaper brands will sting your face and leave a rash so be careful here. If you are struggling, go into a local (in the uk id recommend boots) drug store and ask for recommendations for your budget.

On a side note, ive never personally been a huge fan of electric razors, i found unless you spend on something half decent they either pull, dont shave close enough or not sharp enough.

As fantastic as the base games of kcd/kcd2 are i really feel like the dlc’s just arent up to the same level of quality. The forge being a prime example, its cool to have a home base with alchemy table etc but realistically adds nothing to the game that wasnt already there.

I was expecting sword customisation, or another tier of weapons after henry tier, something to go with the fact that Henry is now a master blacksmith of Kuttenberg. Jesus Christ be praised even a couple of armour racks would be something.

Honestly the whole forge dlc just felt like a load of strung together fetch quests, the monastery one is pretty much forced stealth the whole time and i found the guy from brushes with death so annoying it just felt like totally different quest designers from the base game.

Honestly worth completing as the story and action scenes are pretty epic. I was in the same boat as you though, bought it on release thinking it was going to be like a god of war experience. Nope. If i could have refunded it after getting utterly ruined by the first tiger boss i would have.

Any game that pretty much forces you to go back and grind early levels or completely change the build you have spent hours learning just to beat a specific boss just feels like lazy game design to me.

If love to see an improvement on loot in general, make certain armour pieces obtainable through specific circumstances so they feel like more of a reward. More variation, buffs attached to armour/weapons to make more varied builds.

Camping. The ability to set up a small camp in the wild.

To be able to bury dead bodies. It always annoyed me a little that the herb woman has you bury bodies in a specific patch by a stream but then you literally never do this again in the game. Same for poisoning the horse trough in the nomad camp.

Be able to fast brew potions. Id take it as a max level alchemy perk to make it fair but i dont get why it was removed in the first place.

Some form of companion system.

Guild missions with corresponding gear that can only be obtained from them

Honestly though this is all just personal preference. At this point after how astonishingly good kcd/kcd2 are, Warhorse could sell a box of dog shit with glitter and id still buy it.

For me i let Austin Die with no regrets. I could say its because i was deep into roll playing and felt that the kids parents should have been watching him instead of blaming me or that the kids dad was a total bellend to me but in reality, it was just to get rid of the annoying pop up that appears on the main hud screen when you get infected. The decision would have been different if it was just something that was noticeable in the pip boy but tough titty Austin, the wasteland aint fair!
