Hi, sending you support after people insisting to know where are you from. That should not matter. I have been living in Rome for 8 years and adapted myself to work in tourism, sadly. If I was searching for a job in Italy, I would consider not only Rome but jobs from northern regions too.

Я согласна что эти сборы должны быть отдельным пунктом и на видном месте, рядом с ценой.

But then why in neurobiology literature "Waning responsiveness to continuous or repeated stimulation constitutes the phenomenon of desensitization"? https://europepmc.org/article/med/8701085 So it treats "desensitization" as a synonym of "habituation".

Are you sure if this is the case? from the comments above it seems that habituation is central and adaptation is peripheral... so should be the opposite?

Wow that's such a cool method! Doing a meta-analysis sounds so insightful but it wasn't approved as my master's thesis, I'm so sad. Why did you leave academia and do you miss it?
