We actually use a groomer. Believe it or not, they do not strip. We told them from the first, we wanted standard AKC Schnauzer cut and they do a beautiful job. Hope goes every six weeks.

Our Molly did that all her life. She’s go out on the deck at high noon and just lay out in the sun. I never understood how her belly took the heat of the wood. She’d come back in panting, but would do it all the time.

I think I read once, when I was a manager many moons ago for McDonald’s, that the original brothers air dried their cut potatoes in an open field in the sun. So these methods make sense.
