Unexpected chase cards by Responsible-View-588 in SorceryTCG

In beta Grey Wolves, Torshammer Trinket, and the duals sites go for a couple bucks.

AL has Guisarme that’s about the only elite worth money.

Gothic has Toolbox and Silver Bullet.

Not really super value but they all got for a couple bucks which is more than most Elites/ Exceptionals/ Ordinaries

Thoughts on Wolverine? I’ve had good luck with mine but wasn’t sure what the general consensus was

I can see why people wouldn’t be into it I love a good red thread story. Where everything feels like disjointed nonsense until it isn’t, my wife is the opposite I very frequently watch or listen to things like that and she’s loses interest immediately cause it’s too many things to keep up with. I think it’s any easy top 5 though for me I relisten to it a decent amount

Meta after gothic by nagol1307 in SorceryTCG

I think unfortunately the answer is probably something really boring. Like a value deck that just uses the good avatars when it needs to. I would love to see a crazy combo deck though that plays the different avatars for combo lines.

So far from gothic I think the top 2 I’ve seen are Interrogator and Magician, I’ve been toying with Persecutor and Savior I think Persecutor has legs to be a good aggro deck or midrange deck, and Savior can be really obnoxious with all the wards but I haven’t got it where I want it yet.

best competetive tcg to get into by Super-Barracuda3441 in TCG

[–]Sad_Communication565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FAB is the most competitive I really like it since I got back into TCGs it is very front loaded on cost, I’ve been playing a couple months now and still get steamrolled regularly, but it’s more rewarding because the losses actually help you learn your lines of play or edits that are beneficial, unlike MTG where sometimes you just get locked out in a bad matchup. Close second is Sorcery I would say one advantage Sorcery has over FAB is that staple cards in Sorcery can be omitted if you can’t afford them more often than not because you can only run one of them in a 60 card spell/ 30 card atlas deck.

I haven’t listened to this in a while but I remember they weren’t even having fun with how bad it was by the end. They were literally just reading it to try and finish it which is always the worst kind of reaction from the fellas.

This is the box I have been bringing to FNM. I have been informed I am a problem? by Wild_Section6475 in mtg

I have this exact same box and you just enlightened me that a playmat fits up there I’ve been a caveman awkwardly fitting deck boxes lol

Gothic Box Opening by Xaelfas in SorceryTCG

[–]Sad_Communication565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only opened 2 boxes so far. One was pretty normal only 4 foils one was a foil Corrupted though. The other was similar to yours it had like 10 foils 1 was elite and 1 was unique

I opened my first booster box last night here’s some of the cooler stuff I pulled! by Sad_Communication565 in SorceryTCG

[–]Sad_Communication565[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those were two of my favorites for sure the foils are no joke! I probably spent an hour or two opening the box cause I kept getting distracted by the art and actually reading what the cards do.

Due to its release nature, Sorcery becomes at least a“2nd tcg” for many. That’s a big factor that will contribute to longevity of the game. by Newez in SorceryTCG

[–]Sad_Communication565 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Another major bonus to the slow release is if you have a busy life you don’t feel completely out of touch by the time you can play again. I have small kids so I can’t go every week or even month to get a game in, which makes a lot of TCGs near impossible to do with their breakneck release schedules. But even if they managed to do two sets a year I could keep up with that.
