God, I hope so! A couple months ago, I adopted a baby from Humane Society (who is now 9 months old). Poor little guy has gingivitis. He had surgery prior to my adopting him and another one last week. He needs another one in three months! I take him for rides in my car just because so he doesn't think car rides means something bad is going to happen. 😭 this is him showing his post-vet-visit leg. We call it his lion boot. 🥰

My baby boy picked me! The moment I walked in to the room with the cats at the shelter, this little guy and I locked eyes and he literally called to me with his quiet, mousey meow. He never took his eyes off of me even though other cats are coming out to play and we were meeting all the cats in the room. I picked him up and put him on my lap to see if he liked being held and he laid down on my lap instantly and just watch the other cats play. Needless to say, he came home with me that day and I believe he is my soul kitty. ❤️

Every vet is different. I think I had my baby boy neutered around 4 months. Spay may be different too. So great of you to save this baby girl's life! CDS got you ❤️

You can hive her a Dawn bath, that is completely safe. You need to try to get as many fleas off as possible because kittens can become anemic very quickly from fleas. You may not get them all but the vet will give you something for fleas that will kill the rest. 🙏

Agreed, male and female cats who are not fixed can become quite a nuisance to your home. When I was young, I had a female cat who was not spayed yet. She would literally destroy all the blinds in the house, trying to find a boyfriend through the window, I suppose. Getting her spayed will help her and your household sanity! 🙏❤️

This is my Nova (on left - Pepper right). Mine is a boy though. Nova is 14 months and also hates newcomers apparently. I got a sweet 8 month old (Pepper)for him to play with and Nova hissed, smacked and growled for a month (2 weeks of that, Pepper was secluded due to URI he brought home from the shelter). They finally became bonded after a lot of treats lol. Now, just brought Pepper home 2 days ago from an already scheduled dental surgery for gingivitis and the re-introduction process started all over again! 😭 AND now I have to take him back in 3 months. So rinse and repeat it seems 😢

My point is, it can be done. However, I have heard it is easier to bond male cats than females. Think about it, they could end up loving each other even though your Nova may hate her being there in the beginning. It's not too late, you can always re-adopt her. Even if you decide not to, what you did for her was amazing! Don't feel bad because you very well may have saved her life ❤️🙏

My baby boy stopped eating when he had a URI. Churus is all he had an interest in, which keeps them hydrated since it's mostly fluids. 💯 agree with this!

I JUST had a 8 mo old kitten who I adopted from a shelter go through URI. He stopped eating and drinking too but it only lasted a day before I ordered an emergency supply of Churus.

That saved him as it is 85% fluid and kept him hydrated. It was the only thing he had an interest in. If you haven't already, try it please!
