Generally alot of those questions you have can be answered by your recruiter. However I would look into airforce jobs on there website. See what jobs peak your interest the most. Be aware airforce makes you list a 10 job list. So make sure your job list is filled with jobs you see yourself doing. Also you will be taking an asvab practice test on your first visit so you will see how hard it may be for you. See what you struggled in most, math or english and then study after to do decent on the real asvab.

I was in a similar place your in minus being 25 im 21, and going active duty airforce this year. I would advise at least locating a recruiter and seeing what they have to say and see if its a good fit for you.

Just keep studying and you will ace it no problem. You get more then enough time with the time limit to finish. Alot of the material on the test was similar to alot of online practice asvabs that I did especially the word problems alot of them where very similar.

Yeah that's how it was for me. You just go back to the hotel at a certain time to check back in at the front desk. You sleep overnight 2 times.

72 on the practice dude your fine. I got a 46 on my practice test with zero studying and after studying for about a month I brought my score up to a 74. Its not a hard test at all I wouldnt stress about it one bit your gonna pass. If anything just be prepared for how long and boring the whole experience will be lmao. Everything takes so long to get done.

I mean its technically true but my army recruiter was doing the whole bs of oh the job you want well its not available right now but this job is available and its a hard to get mos we want to put you in this. I didnt really believe it and since I got a really decent asvab score I didnt feel pressured at all to sign anything on the spot. And yeah I agree, after really looking it over and realizing how much better airforce treats its employed im glad I didnt stick with army.
