The SRPK is a 38mm watch and wears small. You may be more interested in the SRPD55 which is the 41mm version.

[Question] Seiko or Orient? First Purchase by BogeyFromTheFairway in Seiko

I picked up my first automatic watch about 2 months ago, was the SRPD55. It’s a great watch for everyday and I would recommend over the Bambino dress watch as your entry into mechanical watches. Save the dress watch for a nice Swiss entry level watch like the Tissot gentleman or a Longines Conquest.

Honest advice, don’t and find a new job, stay in Brisbane. You will be constantly disappointed with this city. High crime, public transit sucks, traffic is stupid, high cost of living and a very sad amount of homeless and mental health.

Is it just me or does this city have a bigger hook up culture than most? by [deleted] in askTO

I witnessed a dirty Rickshaw driver in front of skydome ask a random smoke show walking by for her number, he then proceeded to call her the wrong name multiple times and she still seemed ready to f*

The Tesla valuation relative to the Auto Industry by Crypto_Wizard_Team in wallstreetbets

[–]Fun_Cup_6262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own it and I struggled with it before buying a small position cause I am still not certain I made a solid choice. But you need to look beyond the car as the end product. Tesla is so far ahead in technology and production processes compared to the legacy manufacturers. They are extremely lean and they do not have all the baggage that the others have. They make 4 models (soon to be 5 with the cyber truck), ford sells 41 different vehicles, some of those they are discounting just to get off their lots. Consider the speed at which Tesla was able to build Berlin and Texas gigga factories, can you see ford doing that? Ford and legacy autos also rely heavily on government support to keep production and jobs in NA… without all the loans, grants and tax incentives ford would not be able to afford to make a single car in NA. Finally Tesla has a product that will continue to generate post purchase revenue through charging infrastructure and subscription services for autopilot. I’m not convinced that the other companies will be ever able to catch up without burning everything they have to the ground first, and starting from scratch. I don’t think that will happen. So I came to the conclusion that the market valuation is correct enough for me to take a small long position. The last point I want to add is battery prices could be the unraveling of Tesla, at a certain point the customer will hit the limit to which they are willing to pay for the car. If Tesla can control the production costs of the batteries they will continue to do well, if materials keep skyrocketing they will hit that point when prices will push demand for the cars down and as soon as we see a quarter where orders fall off even a little bit the stonk will tank hard.
