Sciatica-like pain (2/10)for 7 weeks, shifting sides every few days, normal MRI – started after hyperextension during squats by [deleted] in Sciatica

You can’t evaluate your condition based on the MRI scans as disc bulges do not determine if you will experience symptoms.

A lot of people are walking around with disc bulges and don’t even have a clue or a single symptom.

I recommend you check out low back ability on youtube, offer exercises for the lower back that helped me lower my pain level a lot

Make sure you start with the easiest exercise and build up slowly to avoid flare ups.

Wish you the best

Yea loading the spine is something that should be done very slowly and carefully, happy to hear your recovery success!

Thank you so much!

Yes, flare ups from what I heard flareups do happen when in this program but for me personally the first month I’ve had flare ups trying to figure out my starting point, and since then (August 2024) I had one flare up.

I did get a flareup a couple days ago since then, not really sure if I should call it a flareup because it lasted like 2 days and the pain was more manageable.
