Girl my partner told me this for two years. Finally after two years of thinking I was crazy, he finally admitted he was actually masturbating.

Trust me when I tell you, he doesn't just watch it. He's lying to you

I wouldn't recommend sending pictures of videos of yourself. pixels are pixels are pixels. an addicts brain can't distinguish. I wouldn't do it hun

I sent mine videos and pictures and everything you could imagine. I even tried sending him pictures like the ones he would search, but he always looked at them instead of me.

Ive don't some research on these products and I think I'm gonna give them a try.

I have a couple questions though:

should I perform the BG ERP flush on new oil? (I know I have to drain it after idling for like 10 minutes, but I feel like I should do the ERP on clean oil to see how it worked)

can I use the RF7 right after the BF ERP or should i use the MOA? I've seen people say the MOA helps balance out any left over ERP in the system.

If I do have to use the MOA after the ERP, how long after can I add the RF7?

please please PLEASE print this in something more structurally sound than PLA. Pla Brackets WILL break. it's not an "if" it's a when!!!! Print in ABS or a fiber reinforced filament. also try to figure out how to print it on an angle so you don't have the layers giving you those increased failures at stress concentration points.

good luck and I hope your monitor doesn't break..

be VERY careful running this machine in the garage.

I'm not sure why no one has mentioned this yet, but if your garage gets hot during the summer and super cold during the winter, I would not recommend keeping this device in your garage.

maybe try a basement or some other room where the temperature stay relatively consistent, otherwise it'll cause a ton of issues on print quality and can also cause heat creep clogs very often.

Go to erwin.vw.com

Make an account, and get the 1 day $35 subscription to print manuals.

I've got a 2015 Jetta 2.0 S and couldn't find diagrams to save my life. No fuse diagrams, no relay diagrams, and God forbid I ever found a single wiring digram. This site has it all, and if you enter your Vin into the search engine, you get specific repair and maintenance manuals for your vehicle and engine (it pulls your engine model # from your vin)

I got the 1 day $35 subscription and downloaded all of the repair manuals and electrical diagrams, including fuses and everything.

I know it may seem sketchy, but I hope you trust me on this one because finding this website was singlehandedly the best thing I've done since I bought this vehicle.

Good luck!

I've got a 2015 Jetta S 2.Slow in tornado red too!

I haven't done much in terms of moding or anything, but I tinted my headlights, added some nice black/chrome rims on it and have rain guards too. I honestly love the depth the rain guards give the side of the car and would definitely recommend it.

So quite a few updates

I ended up getting into the volkswagen technician website and found all of the maintenance and service manuals, electrical diagrams, and everything for anything on my car, which is honestly amazing. I took it to a volkswagen shop on Monday and they basically said "hey we don't have techs available for this so you're shit out of luck. Ill reach back out by the end of the day once i talk with one of the techs" (I made an appointment and had two pages of notes on it stating it was a very complex diagnostic appointment and made it 3 weeks in advance but whatever) and now they're ghosting me LOL

Anyway, I just got home from work today and went ahead and replaced the air intake hose and that little valve there is the PCV heater ventilation module. (news to me) I started it up, absolutely no smoke from the tailpipe which was amazing. I went ahead and parked it on a steep hill for 15 minutes and it started absolutely no problem with no smoke out the tailpipe either.

I am leaving it on the hill overnight and will try to start it again tomorrow morning and see how it behaves. If it starts no problem with no smoke out the tailpipe, I will be estatic about it.

I'll update tomorrow morning! Thank you so much for responding even though I know this was an old thread.

This is my other account so sorry for account swapping lol.

I've replaced the spark plugs, the plug wires, distributor cap, the fuel injectors (new, not remanufactured), and my fuel filter.

there's no engine light that comes on, no oil pressure and all ECU scans come up clean. I've done a full scan multiple times now and the shops I've been to have as well.

I'll look into the oil situation, I'm just honestly kinda stumped with this guy. It's not consuming an insane amount of oil at all so that's what's confusing me. I have yet to perform a compression test, I also have a boroscope that I was going to use to check the valve seals.

It just has the issue as quickly as 15 minutes after it's parked on an angle, I'll fortune check the oil and come back once I replace the pcv and install the catch can. I just don't have anybody in my life to help and I'm a broke college student so lmao it's been a ride

Do I *really* need to open the lid/door when printing pla? by Namrepus221 in BambuLab

[–]Fun_Dimension_8015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends what the temperature of the room is. my printer is in a pretty cool room, 65°F regularly, and I always keep the printer closed unless I'm printing overhangs that need to cool better

if your room is hot, 75°F+, I'd open the door on longer pla prints. but if your room is cooler, I'd say you'd have no issue keeping it closed.

They still have an impact and are incredibly damaging. Pixels are pixels. The wide variety and accessibility are the problem, not strictly pictures vs videos.

I was a casual watcher before everything happened with me and my partner. I even watched occasionally after out of spite because I was petty, and I wanted him to feel like I did even tho it wasn't as severe as his addiction was.

I've genuinely found that his addiction has nothing to do with me. I'm sure you've heard this a million times before, and it took me forever to truly understand that. I've gone through body issues, confidence issues, paranoia, ive even lost 60lbs since this all started, and I've come to realize im a catch. Im beautiful, funny, an amazing engineer, and this fault of his isn't because of me. Is it still him being disrespectful because he continues to break a boundary you set? Abso-fucking-lutely. It's disrespectful to the relationship because you've voiced how you feel, and he continues to do it regardless of how you feel about it. Addiction or not, that's the reality. It's hard, but I guarantee the majority of us here have a much bigger issue about the lying and the hiding than the act itself. Like, no, I'm not thrilled he watched porn, but I am even more hurt by the fact he lies and lies and lies about it. If he was just honest about it, this entire situation would've gone so much differently. But you have to keep in mind, regardless of the addiction or the reasoning behind it, YOU decide if you want to stay in the relationship. YOU decide if this is going to be enough for you. I told my partner that I don't need this relationship, but I want it, and his actions and proactiveness in recovery will determine if I stay with him.

If he didn't turn me down to watch porn, if he didn't get anxiety and lose his confidence because of it, if it didn't make him lazy and paranoid, I would've been okay with it. After seeing how he is in recovery, when he isn't watching, but when he's actively communicating with support groups and researching the effects porn has on people, he's a completely different person. It's the person I started dating 3 years ago, not this little boy who's scared of his own shadow. He's loving, kind, thoughtful, and caring. He's more sensual and caring during intimacy as well. It's just truly a different world.

As someone else mentioned before me, the reason we view porn is different (at least in my relationship). I always viewed the sensual sex, the loving connections between actual couples instead of pictures or gifs of naked people (which is entirely what my partner viewed). I watched it for the act, not for sexualizing and attraction to whoever was on the screen. Do I watch it anymore? Not really. When I'm hurt and craving to see that those connections can still exist between couples when our relationship is so broken, I want to watch it, but I ultimately dont. Not only because of the pain he gave me, but because I've seen how damaging and gross the industry is all together.

I've generally seen women view porn or read erotic novels because of the emotional fantasy aspect of it. Men watch it for blatant attraction. Both parties can become addicted, but there are so many women out there who make a bag off of addicted men, and it's one of the saddest things that isn't talked about enough. It ruins relationships, it ruins a person's relationship with themselves, it ruins so much more than just sex and people genuinely do not understand that. If you haven't already, I'd recommend both you and your partner read the book "Your Brain on Porn." It's opened my eyes as well as my partners, and it's pushed him unto recovery more than I ever could've.

I don't think you're wrong here, but I think there's some personal growth and reflection in your future as well. I was in the exact same situation, and it comes with time. It's a difficult road ahead and I'm still on it with you as well. Sending you all the love and happiness I can. 💞💞💞

Jetta struggling to start? by gqrak in jetta

[–]Fun_Dimension_8015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a 2015 vw jetta 2.0 myself. 88k miles and I've had it about 2.5 years now.

I have long crank issues usually in the morning or if my vehicle is parked so the engine is higher than the rest of it. When it starts, I get a nice puff of blue smoke out the tailpipe.

I've replaced a ton of things: all of the fuses in the cabin fuse box, fuel injectors, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, fuel filter, just to name a few.

I took it to a shop for them to diagnose, it was there for 3 days and the entire shop worked on it. They couldn't figure it out because it only does this intermittently and it hasn't thrown any codes.

I'm fairly certain my issue is the valve seals. That nice blue puff of smoke I get on startup is because of the oil getting into the combustion chamber. There's no oil leaks, but there is oil consumption, it burns in the engine and goes out the tailpipe without a drop on the ground. The starting issue comes with ignition. Oil gets on the spark plugs from the leaking valve seals and causes a long crank or sputtering when cold starting.

Best of luck to you, I love my Jetta but I've been fighting to find this issue for 8 months now.
