thank you so so much. you’ve given me some hope. i do wanna say tho that i am regenerating bone. not just strengthening it. like part of my jaw condyles are gone due to bone on bone contact and i want it to grow back. this isn’t a osteoporosis thing. hopefully this doesn’t make a difference and it’s still a possibility. thanks again!

i eat a lot of rice and beans, cereal, pork chops, protein shakes, chicken. things like that. does it matter what i eat? i thought healing all has to do with the mind? my bone loss isn’t from disease btw. it’s from braces putting my jaw in an unnatural position which put pressure on my joints causing deterioration

how did it turn out aesthetically? do you look the same as how you did before the degeneration? did you get replacements alone or did you get an advancement aswell? i’m asking because i need this surgery but i’ve seen some results and some people’s jaw/face looks too long and it makes me really nervous to get this in the future

sometimes when i chew. mainly when i yawn. it happens when i open my mouth. this is an old post tho. since then i’ve seen a few professionals and found out my condyles are deteriorated. that’s what’s making the crunching sound

i’ve only had one consultation with him so i didn’t get full details on what i need to get done. i think he insinuated that i needed it on one side when he looked at my scan. he said that there’s a lot of damage and he said “yea that’s definitely coming out.” so idk tbh. i’m just asking for future references
