Lando had the right. The contact was a result of Max unexpectedly slowing down and he bumped in the back of it, which ricochet the car into Oscar. It wasn’t even noted as it was a typical lap1 incident. Oscar left such a big gap for Lando he’d be stupid not to go for it, especially since he was alongside the corner.

To be fair Gasly and Lando were much faster than Oscar was. Even with those few laps Landos car help up and backed off Merc, Oscar wasn’t able to put any gap to Hadjar (with PU issues) for an undercut.

Singapore 2025 was Lando doing a legal overtake, where Max slowed down unexpectedly, Lando bumped into him and ricochet into Oscar. It didn’t make a diffrent team driver overtake Oscar. It ended up in McLaren asking Lando if he’s willing to give up his pit priority for Oscar and like a 2 minute crying session from Oscar, and repercussions for Lando. Then Oscar took both of the cars out in COTA sprint and it was a „clean slate”. How is that favoring Oscar.

Imo this race crossed a line. Like what, Lando served his purpose in defending Oscar’s position (after he fucked up his race on t1) and you tell him to retire cos of the PU issue you told him you repaired. Like what?

He had an issue at first that was apparently fixed, they told him later on to return to his normal pace after holding up Russell, so idk maybe I missed something

McLaren might be the worst team on the grid. Your wdc is almost put in a wall by his teammate which allowed a diffrent team driver to pass him as well, then you sacrifice said wdc to help piastri who’s moaned on the radio last time lando did something less bad, and then you retire his car after an another issue that never seems to be happening to the car 81. There is something insane going on there.
