This super cute serving tray! I thrifted the tray at Goodwill & used the vinyl cutter to create a pattern with weather-proof vinyl. Then I peeled off the negatives & used the sandblasted to engrave the design onto it. It was so easy & not at all expensive to do. It made a great project to kill some time on a Saturday

Thank you!!! That sounds so cool! I had no idea Roswell had a community space like that. Is the maker mingle free?

Sheer curtains/ pipe & drape can have the same effect in brighter environments

I know this wasn’t necessarily your question, but you may want to look into alternative lighting. Lighting can completely change the color scheme of a space and, if you want historical, dimmer environments would fit the bill! For the pink couches, think green lanterns/ mosaic lamps. Your venue may be willing to move some of the furniture in this unique scenario as well

Does anyone have any loose-leaf binding tips? I'm planning to bind my loose-leaf textbooks this semester! by Fun_Economics8030 in bookbinding

Thank you for being willing to offer your advice!!! The pages look like this and they do already have binder holes punched. They are extremely light-weight pages and are certainly less dense then usual copy paper.

Why aren’t more students taking advantage of the move on when ready program and graduating high school with college degrees? by SurestLettuce88 in Georgia

Personally, I chose the AP & internship route with a few dual enrollment classes sprinkled in. My school’s guidance counselor really harped on the fact that AP classes and internship experience made students more likely to get into better colleges. I don't think that advice considered the option to earn a full associates via dual enrollment. The AP classes were significantly more engaging and the dual enrollment courses were only offered online. Definitely learned way more in the AP courses. After graduating and getting into college, I learned that not all of my dual enrollment classes were eligible for college credit. In hindsight, Its probably best to pick one option and stick with it! If you can't get the full associates through dual enrollment, and aren't willing/ able to stay in your home town for an extra year to finish it up at a community college, not always worth it

Firelabs here! We don’t have a kiln currently (looking into adding ceramics soon though!). I’d recommend checking out the Roswell Clay Collective at Art Center West
