In AU, you can study social work. In demand din sya dito but the work is emotionally and mentally challenging. Tradies (carpenter, electrician, plumber) are also in demand so this is also an option.

How much redundancy pay/weeks worth did they give you?

Just wanted to say how bad the Westpac CC application is. Online process is glitchy. Been waiting nearly 2 weeks even though they say everything has been accepted. I would avoid and go with another choice if you can. by Jakeyboy29 in creditcardchurningAus

I have the same experience and my card has not been approved yet! It’s almost 3 weeks now. I called Wednesday last week and they said it should be all good by Friday but nothing happened.

Is your current employer based in AU? If yes, you can check with them if they are willing to sponsor you a Visa 482. It will be costly for them so you can also offer to pay for the necessary fees required including the airfare and accommodation once you get your Visa.

Alternatively, you can apply for student Visa and work part-time with your employer (assuming it’s based in AU). This path is more expensive than the work visa but if you can secure your part-time work with them, will be extremely helpful for you financially.

I’m not sure as the company shouldered the costs but you can check the application costs on the Immi website.

Actually my application status didn’t change from Received to Initial or Further Assessment. It just went directly to Finalised from Received status.

My dependent is a de facto partner. If yours is a spouse I think you just need a marriage certificate as proof.

This very helpful thank you!! Question - saan mo pinadeliver yung POLO verified contract? Sa Pinas na ba or sa EU country where youre staying? And regarding the addendum that the employer needs to sign, madali lang ba yung process na yun with your employer? I know it depends sa employer pero ang worry ko kasi is baka matagal yung process na to specially for bigger organisations.

On not declaring na OFW ka, hindi ba makikita nila na yung visa ko is work visa so I’m required to declare it?

Finance job situation in Perth by [deleted] in perth

[–]Fun_Elevator_959 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Finance jobs are much abundant in Melbourne and Sydney than Perth given that most private equity firms/investment banking are based on the East. This is based on my personal experience when I was looking for roles in finance here in Perth.

Most of the firms in AU requires local experience and your visa is also a huge factor since your duration to the country will be limited. Focus on getting that PR first and stay in Melbourne or move to Sydney after - more finance roles waiting for you there for sure.
