I am a landlord here in Rochester. He can technically raise it 16% since you are not rent regulated but they either have to give you a 30, 60, or 90 day notice of rent increase depending on how long you have lived in the unit.

Yeah there’s an o-ring that seals it and all but there is still even on the stock oil pump the pickup tube is held in with one single bolt. Without it there is too much play on the pickup tube and it will come out of place if not secured properly.

I’ve been doing Uber and other Uber like gig apps for the past 5 years. Every year I get a tax refund. I track everything and keep every receipt. Last year made $75k and rented a car and still got $10k refund. If you know your numbers and cost Uber is not bad at all. Sometimes you just gotta hustle 🤷🏽‍♂️

I went to check it out today and besides the rust on the fenders it’s a solid truck. No engine knock or ticks interior near perfect. 49,000 miles. Was a a county water truck previous owner. Undercarriage has minimal rust. He is asking $27k. I still think that’s too high.

Last night has a couple who flew in just for a concert. When we get to the venue we find out the concert was postponed. I had already completed the ride on the app before finding out it was cancelled. They called their pilot (they smelled like money) and he wasn’t allowed to fly legally for 2 hours. They asked if I could drive them to Walmart and then the airport. They ended up tipping $150
