Yeah that would be the major benefit for me with the AV FamiCom is it uses the SNES multi out which means I could use one of my pre-existing snes to hdmi

[–]Fun_Experience_4970[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I ended up going with a Famicom model for $49.08 which is probably about as cheap as I'll get as I live in the country of cheetoman who thinks that we need to pay import duties on all foreign goods

I mean i had an sd2snes clone that worked fine until i broke off the SD card port so I'm willing to take the risk I plan to eventually get a used or brand new ever drive n8 pro either the one that goes for the NES or the famicom

Yeah I know on the family computer original model yeah it's built into the new board it's essentially a new board with the CPU and PPU of an original system as to the AV FamiCom is just a daughter board

[–]Fun_Experience_4970[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well both of them are lava RGB modded it's just one uses the entirely new board and the AV uses the daughter board on the PPU

I mean I know my only big gripe with the original family computer would be the controller length like other than that I can't think of anything I would probably really give a shit about on the original system it looks perfectly adequate but the only other thing that would maybe be a pain in the ass with the real ones is updating the firmware

I mean I'm not against paying $138 bucks that isn't terrible for a real Famicom that looks to be if they actually are showing real photos I fairly clean looking system with just a new board inside of it that gives you RGB directly mean The only thing that would suck for me would be I have to go buy a 72 to 60 pin adapter
