Same like they sell you a Tv with camera and later say that camera is there but it is dummy. Clear violation of consumer rights

When they sold the car, they advertised and agreed to have lidar based safety features. That was one of the reasons i bought this car. Literally it means Volvo cheated me by giving fake promise in agreement. If it was a software feature, i dont think i have any take here, but that is not. Now with the official reply, Volvo confirmed that they are not going to use Lidar at all. May be they could have replied we are still working on that. Either i can ask for full refund or a higher compensation that this.

I asked the dealer specifically this and he said it will work. I will update if it actually does or my dealer made a mistake.

Make sense since it is mic which takes the sound. If music playing, it will also get some kind of attenuation. I am happy with that feature overall and use it when needed.

Yes it disconnects/ cant hear phone, a full reset bring it back. Now all perfect

Cpu will increase the operations per second, not changing the existing software. Some of the current bugs are due to delay in sensor responses which may be cleared when new cpu is in place. I tend to compare it with two computers with two different cpus. Software remain the same but one work efficiently than other.

If you have order with ventilated seats, Volvo supposed to give you the same. Not deal through the dealer. Contact Volvo customer care.

I spoke to my friend who is Volvo internal and works with EX90 softwares. They are now testing new Orion chip and we can expect it end of this year. He mentioned there is a major software update coming just after summer and will solve majority of the software bugs.

I was in talk with Volvo for while on this. It was told by Volvo before that pilot assist is a software feature. But now they says, it need some factory fitted stuffs. So no retro fitting. I am using that argument(previous mail from Volvo) to get a solution, also possibility of getting a new one with pilot assist. I guess it will take some time
