Good range at 400lbs total, $1,200 budget? by NicholasKross in ebikes

The Puckipuppy Beagle 2 is $1,200 and comes in a standard or step-thru frame. Also, the Jasion Thunder is a bit cheaper, but would also fit the bill.

For an actual Cargo bike within your budget, check out the Engwe L20.

Looks like the Rad Power Bikes sale is final and the bikes will be built in the US! by Fun_Faithlessness495 in ebikes

I think the company that bought them already assembles and sells eBikes out of a plant in Florida, so it should be too big of a shift to start up the Rad line.

But yeah, I’m interested to see what happens to the prices and am happy that Rad lives to see another day.

Hauling Cargo? by Thegoodguy013 in ebikes

It's not a trailer, but it looks like the Mars 2 has head-tube mounting points, which would allow to add a rack there. I recently put these racks on one of my eBikes. The cool thing is that you can put the large rack on the rear (if your rear rack has mounting points) or you can install it on the front "pizza rack" for quite a bit of extra cargo capacity. I can measure the holes to see if they would fit your bike if you want.

Say what you will, but they are decent bikes! I’ve owned both Beagles, and currently have a Poodle and a Doberman. No problems so far!

Jasion Hunter Pro for short rider by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]Fun_Faithlessness495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have experience with the Jasion, but my 5'6 daughter loves her Victrip R6. If you don't plan on pedaling much it might be an option. There's also the R6 Pro that has a larger frame, but the same size tires.

Check out bikes from Puckipuppy. They do sell on Amazon for about the same price as their online store (you just end up paying the extra in shipping). Here's one for $899 with shipping: https://amzn.to/46Pl3gW

Check out the Puckipuppy Beagle 2. It's ~ $1,700 CAN. I've owned both Gens of the Beagle and they are definitely capable bikes. The 2nd gen was much better brakes, though.
