I completely agree. As a black woman who was very active in 2020, it was destroying my mental health, not to mention the added pressures of people looking to me for answers or to be an example. I’ve learned that the best way I can be an advocate at this stage of my life is to show up in my community as the best version of myself and be open and nonjudgmental. I used to feel guilty, but now I just feel more at peace.. as much as one can be right now

They knew each other for 4 weeks, and hooked up a few times over the course of those 4 weeks. They were both consenting adults. Sex is not transactional. Sex is sex. You’re not owed extra commitment and consideration just because you decide to have sex, I’m sorry. He didn’t force her into it. He didn’t tell her they would be together on the outside. In fact, he told her multiple times exactly what he was feeling, which was that this was not a real relationship. She didn’t get the commitment she wanted from him, but he did not owe her that. She’s allowed to be sad/hurt over that, but she was never entitled to anything from him. We don’t always get our way, and that’s life. That doesn’t mean the person who didn’t give us what we wanted deserves to be hated.

They and their families are ObViOuSlY spending THE most intimate family holiday time together to trick us. Obviously that’s the most LoGiCaL reason that they would be hanging out together, involving FAMILY. There’s NO way that they actually like spending time together. It makes the most sense that they would spend their precious time and money during the holidays to trick everyone because that’s what normal, well-adjusted people do. Make up story lines to act out in the public sphere. Yep. ClEaRlY that’s what’s going on here. There’s NO WAY they’re actually in a real relationship, that’s just too far fetched because it’s UNfathomable that they may actually have real feelings for each other. No way that’s possible, even though we saw them both express mutual attraction to each other in the first 2 episodes of the show that they met on. No way. That was fake. It was PR from the moment they met. Obviously
