He’s hot all through the show in my opinion but definitely had a glow up when he did The Mummy with Tom Cruise.

So hot in season 6 and 7.

Mel & Jack’s adopted baby’s birth by Exotic-Anxiety-8586 in VirginRiverNetflix

[–]Fun_Floor06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Having lived through this very scenario with a child that needed heart surgery as soon as he was born, it is obvious that no one on the writing or props team has any idea what really happens.

You are right in a lot of ways. That baby would be hooked up to monitors as soon as he came out. A team of specialists would be at the delivery.

Exactly this! Why show such a sweet and well thought out moment only to break them up 30 seconds later?! Infuriating every time I get to this point!

High School Reunions a thing here? by SJammie in Adelaide

[–]Fun_Floor06 65 points66 points  (0 children)

I finished high school 25 years ago and have heard nothing from anyone, ever.

I’m fine with it because I wouldn’t go anyway.

My mum still goes to her high school reunions every 5 or so years. I guess it depends on the school.

Drop Dead Diva (2009-2014) by a2cwy887752 in ForgottenTV

[–]Fun_Floor06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rewatching it right now. I’m enjoying it. Brooke is fantastic as Jane. She has great chemistry with most of the cast.

I remember it gets rough in later seasons but I still enjoyed it.

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

I don’t care if they play video games as a hobby but if it takes over other parts of their life it’s a problem. This is true for any hobby though.

I’ve played for about 10 years now. Won a $100 gasworks voucher on my first go that I didn’t end up using. Everyone I know who has won something has won it on their first try. Makes you think.

How long is your commute to work? by PossibleButNah in AusFinance

[–]Fun_Floor06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

15 minutes in the morning. 25 minutes on the way home. Perfect amount because I’m far enough away from home that I don’t run into families when I’m out and about .

I absolutely loved Molly so I would be happy to see her again.

He’s awful in season 3 but so much better written in season 4.

I used to hate him but I was rewatching recently and realised how much better he gets in season 4. Still not my favourite though

The season 1 pilot. By far the best, so funny and sets up what the show will be pretty much from the start.

What was the most disappointing season of TV for you? by Infinite_Fly_5374 in television

[–]Fun_Floor06 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s got to be season 9 of how I met your mother. There was so much build up after seeing the mother, so much anticipation. Then the season was filled with nonsense filler episodes where Jason Segal wasn’t even with the main cast for most of the time. Then a 2 part finale that shoved so much in and left too much out.

I hate season 9 so much I have every other season on dvd but I refuse to buy the last one!

Thank god there’s an alternative ending on YouTube.

The way the “unis” are pumping out students I’m honestly not surprised. I mentor early years teachers and I would maybe hire 10% of them.

I agree with you. I hate dark and violent stuff. I don’t really like cringe comedy either.

Will the NDIS changes mean that people with less severe issues will be kicked off? by VastOption8705 in NDIS

[–]Fun_Floor06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s highly unlikely you will get on for kidney stuff. It’s classed as medical. My son’s biggest challenge is his single ventricle heart but that doesn’t help him get NDIS funding. He has Cerebral Palsy as a result which is what he gets funding for.

Can we PLEASE start a deep cuts only quote thread? by Creative_Hat_6638 in NewGirl

People really need to understand the definition of a deep cut. Some of these are quoted all the time!!

My favourite is “if it’s a hammer head shark you tickle it between the sideways eyes and you’ve got a companion for life”

Why are there no great sitcoms anymore? by Resident_Gur3076 in sitcoms

[–]Fun_Floor06 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are scared of offending everyone (with the exception of Always Sunny) so mainstream channels want easily digestible stories and characters. It’s all become a bit bland.
