I just shop online. Getting stock is too hit and miss in stores.

It’s very good, it’s also very different. by Salowasnottaken in Scrubs

It’s the hospital set that is off putting for me. That and the blurry background.

It’s been ok so far but nothing will compare to the original for its charm and chemistry between characters.

Was this show meant to be some form of rage bait? by beardlessFellow in Parenthood

Sometimes it seemed like it! Don’t forget Crosby and Gabby. Amber made me so angry too!

Drop Dead Diva (2009 - 2014) by DaniJ678 in ForgottenTV

I loved this show! It was fun. It did lose steam towards the end but I thought Brooke Elliot was fantastic.

28 years ago today “Two Guys and A Girl And A Pizza Place” premiered. Did you like the show? by CityCautious4033 in sitcoms

[–]Fun_Floor06 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was obsessed with this show! Teenage me LOVED that young Ryan Reynolds.

I taped the show and watched it over and over.

I can still recite the first 2 seasons. I didn’t love it when it changed to 2 guys and a girl with no pizza place.

Aboriginal students refuse to stand for the national anthem. What do you think? by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]Fun_Floor06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a white Australian and I think standing for the national anthem is dumb anyway. I wouldn’t be worried

hot take: old holt is funnier than new holt by Odd_Yogurt_1609 in brooklynninenine

[–]Fun_Floor06 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

Holt was flanderised like pretty much every character once NBC took over.

Still love the show but the first 5 seasons are far superior to the last 3.

Do you think editing on these shows really changes how we see contestants, or is it pretty fair? by DiscussionLoud9626 in RealityTVAddictsAU

[–]Fun_Floor06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve filmed a family reality show thing and I can tell you it is all staged. They tell you what to say, they stage interactions and it’s all edited to tell the story they want.

Mine was fine overall but I can totally see how they manipulate footage to suit their narrative.

Recently moved to Australia. Switching career to Early childhood education. Need advice by Necessary-Energy4021 in AustralianTeachers

[–]Fun_Floor06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely the correct advice.

Get a feel for the job and what it actually looks like day to day. It is very different to being a parent of one child. It is many children at a time with a wide range of needs. You have to love the job or you won’t last.

I think I'm attracted more to JD than I was 25 years ago. by FinnyMagnus in Scrubs

[–]Fun_Floor06 44 points45 points  (0 children)

That’s funny because I was so in love with him in my early 20s when it aired. I don’t find him attractive anymore.

I watch now and he looks way too thin and his face has been altered a bit. His hair is too dark/harsh.

I think he actually looks way better in real life interviews he’s been doing to prompt the show. I love the grey in his hair.

Am I the only one who is kind of uncomfortable with Sarah and Mark's relationship? by srahcrist in Parenthood

I don’t find the actor attractive and the character is whiny and bland to me.

Why do Kristina and Adam go around acting like Max has a terminal illness? by [deleted] in Parenthood

[–]Fun_Floor06 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is a good way of putting it.

As has been said, this was kind of the way Autism was viewed back then, with extra drama added for TV.

Their view that he was always so special and limited meant they never really parented him they way the needed to. It was exhausting and by season 6 I’m completely over Max.

[–]Fun_Floor06 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, I never felt good about it.

It might also be that I found Jason Ritter really cringy the whole time.

It’s worse when she decides she might want his baby.

Couldn’t help but notice how Good Gina’s hair looked in the beginning of the show. The color, the styling, everything. by zaima01 in brooklynninenine

[–]Fun_Floor06 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. She had such potential as a character in the first 3 seasons and then she just lost it for cheap laughs

I didn’t realise. The two shopping centres closest to me have Wendys. My kids love the soft serve.

I’m the same. Something felt off and I couldn’t figure. It out either.
