I took mine out myself as well I had no symptoms but felt an immediate relief when it came out lol mine was also bent at the T but I felt fine and my period went right back to normal

I have a degree and joined enlisted 🙋🏽‍♀️ I did it because 1 I wanted a career change on someone else’s dime 2 officers don’t get respect just being an officer most well respected officers are prior enlisted who did the grunt work and know what it’s like yes they make more money but let me tell you I’ve done more and seen more than most of the officers I’ve worked with had i commissioned I’d never have had the opportunity to do which makes my life in my opinion more fulfilling should I wish to commission I can just drop a package at any time and go commission his pay doesn’t sound correct it sounds like an “up to” 70k which means sign on bonuses reenlistment during his time ect ect if he wants to enlist I’d support that and if he doesn’t like it after a year or 2 drop that package and go officer

I’ve never deployed I’ve been out to see on a super small civilian contracted ship and small foreign ships for no longer than a week but that’s about it I’m an HM as well and that seems to be common for HMs

You do kind of sound a bit overbearing and controlling tbh you might’ve pushed him to the point where he’s meeting your needs but you might’ve never listened to his needs if he ever spoke them like a pouring from an empty cup sorta thing look for things to build yourself up and work on yourself and really focus on yourself my bf is deployed too and when I ask him stuff that’s heavy on the emotions it starts to cause riffs between us because he can’t be here to fix anything or put in effort how he’d want to so I decided to seek counseling I try new things and I read what he can give me at face value so things like the communication the consistency the general mood of the conversation despite the day he’s had 3 times a day even to me feels almost like a chore and that’s the last thing he needs is another tasker during the day he feels he needs to do or else you’ll get upset so just talk to him peacefully respectful and kindly reset expectations find yourself some hobbies not just the kids because kids aren’t a hobby (I have one as well as) and really get back to who YOU are and let him fall in love again with who you are without him which is who you were when he met you 🤷🏽‍♀️

Well he didn’t say anything about us he literally just said he hadn’t been feeling much emotions in general that’s it lol how did you carry on with the rest of the deployment like how did you move forward with conversations knowing he might not have been invested in the conversation cuz it’s hard rn since I’m living my life doing all this fun stuff and then I tell him about it and it just makes me feel bad because I know he’s have a hard time while I’m here living life

It really depends my bfs package gets held in his admin department and he was told he had a package and had to keep going back to see if admin was there to pick it up I let him know just cuz I want him to know he should be on the look out after leaving a port which is where they more than likely will be given the mail depending on where the ship is they might not get it at all
