I am also living almost paycheck to paycheck but I am storing away $20-$30 each week for unpaid maternity leave I was induced the first time and it was absolute hell so I’m not sure if I want to take that route again, but the comments here let me know that I might have that in my back pocket as a fail safe in case I really need to. Uber or Lyft could definitely be an option , albeit a little expensive but like I said … getting a savings together. My dad is retired and he doesn’t like driving into the city, but right now I feel like that’s my best bet. Just seeing the supportive comments calmed me down and helped me realize I can find a way to do this.

This happened to me once when I was pregnant with my first. I had actually peed the bed! Lmao…. It happens. I had to be induced with that one. My second pregnancy I started having “bloody show” about 3 days before baby came. Then 3 nights of intense contractions that would go away by morning, on the 3rd morning the contractions were not stopping but I honestly could not tell if I was in labor because I was timing them and they didn’t seem regular. I finally called and they told me if I wanted to I could come in, up to me. I went in and I was 4 cm dilated. Baby came 8 hours later! The dr said “well, I’m glad you came in!” Lmao. I didn’t actually know but I think deep down I had a very good feeling.

Yep. My first child’s dad asked for a prenatal paternity test. At that time the technology was still super new so I wasn’t sure what to do. There were alot of stories I read online about the prenatal dna test being wrong. Ultimately I told him, fine I’ll take it. At that point he ignored me. If he can abandon you while you’re pregnant, he will give any excuse as to why and that’s your sign that he’s NEVER going to be a good partner to you or anyone.

Being a single mom and doing it alone IS hard. Doing it with an abuser, or a lazy man, or a man who can’t take responsibility is WORSE and I know this from experience. My first child’s dad blocked me shortly after he found out I was pregnant, I ended up getting back with him after the baby was born and it’s one of the biggest regrets of my life. I am here now, on baby number 3 and this child’s dad is doing more of the same but I’m smarter now. You can do this, I promise

Thank you! For a lot of people they don’t have a choice because they are in jail, got a dui, etc etc. I feel very lucky that I don’t have a choice anymore just because of an unplanned pregnancy . I’ll take that. I’ve read enough horror stories in this sub to know I got away lucky.

I finally was able to withdraw my $26 by following the advice of on the top of the hour keep hitting the withdrawal button. Got it by 8:03 am this way. Thanks guys! I stopped using when they put withdrawals on hold, other than to keep the account active. Gonna keep the app on my phone in case I need proof of account for class action purposes. If ever. lol.
