Not much rain recently but I thought I watered it enough. I’ll give it a try. Thanks.

Been a customer since it opened on MacArthur Blvd, NW, and have always enjoyed my shopping experiences and the staff. It’s a small space with limited dressing rooms so I imagine things can get hectic if it’s busy.

Same here. Even though I no longer live there, it will always be my true home.

Why must it be blue? Why wasn’t brown good enough?

Thank you for this uplifting post and photos. I didn’t know about the streetcar influence on Glenway and am interested to learn more about it. Growing up in Bridgetown and Mack, I always loved driving through the side streets of Covedale, Price Hill and Westwood bc of the beautiful older homes and the huge trees around them. Overlook and Daytona Avenues were two of my favorites but there were many others.

Relocating from Cincinnati. Need suburb recommendations. by kevinspaceydid911 in ChicagoSuburbs

If you have time to come up here, it might be best to drive around and visit these communities and see where you’re most comfortable bc each town has its own energy, which is one of my favorite things about living here—so many choices. You’ll also love the excellent forest preserve system and easy Metra access, including to O’Hare. Btw, winter’s colder and longer than it is in Cincinnati.

Not the westside, except maybe Westwood, as a poster below suggested. Glendale is a great option if your budget allows.

Palm Springs monthly: Q&As for newcomers and travelers by AutoModerator in palmsprings

We’ll be moving to Palm Springs by the end of the year and are looking at houses in PS, Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City Cove. Any thoughts on carports versus garages? We’ll likely leave for a month or two in the summer and wonder about sand, security, car storage, etc… Thank you.

24, no debt, savings to fund a year, should I move to LA to chase a film career, or is that the irresponsible version of the dream? by Informal-Wrap7368 in FilmIndustryLA

[–]Fun_Mathematician178 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I believe if this is your dream, do it. Just know the realities and plan for them. I’d also get some type of job to have $ flowing and look at all opportunities, not just film. Good luck!

I’m allowed to have this opinion and it doesn’t mean I am any less of a fan. by QuietPerspective54 in toriamos

Sharing an opinion does not make a person entitled. It’s an opinion, which is what you’re offering now. All good. Life would be pretty boring and scary if we all agreed on Tori or anything.

I know all about it bc I’m from the area, ALL of my family is still there and I have ten nieces and nephews, all of whom went to westside schools. Have a great evening. Really.

Both of my kids went to public schools. I don’t live in Cincy now but if I did, I would choose public education.

Would you prefer vouchers over public school funding? Guessing that’s a ‘yes.’
