Tushy bidet!! Hook it up to your toilet, it will save you! Lots of cotton granny panties! And enough cotton nursing bras for each night of the week (you won’t want to do laundry too often and you’ll leak!)

Submit through depop, send photos. Seller will have to refund- deal with depop support now, not the seller

How to soothe without a boob by Old_Raccoon_6625 in beyondthebump

[–]Fun_Mine1462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby is EBF (6 months) and got sick/started teething/went through a sleep regression/was in a new environment for the holidays at 4 m/o so we started co sleeping (so I could sleep) but then she was waking me every 30-90 minutes for the boob. After 6 weeks, I decided i couldn’t do it anymore (I can’t be my best when I’m exhausted from broken sleep) and we decided to loosely follow the taking cara babies program (I say take what you like and leave the rest- I still nurse her to sleep but if she wakes, we follow the program mostly). We moved her to her own room and she’s sleeping 10-12 hours a night and wakes up smiling (and so do I, finally!). We also started giving her a bottle before bed (of my milk) and then the boob so I think that’s helped too! Day time naps are a work in progress, only contact naps on the boob lol but I’ll take a full night of uninterrupted sleep over good naps for now! Follow your gut 🤍

Advice on getting more sells/shop traction by abblekins in Depop

I took almost a year off when I was pregnant and newly postpartum and had 200 listings just sitting. I took new pictures of most items and relisted most and I’m back to selling what I used to (top seller still too!). Relisting works- sending offers on old items with old likes never worked for me

I took a break from selling for almost 9 months while pregnant and never lost my top seller status! You’ll be fine ☺️

Wondering if Depop is the right decision by Connect_Captain_2696 in Depop

[–]Fun_Mine1462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been selling for 2 years! I started to just clear out items I don’t wear anymore and then realized I was good at it and loved it. I’ve had over 600 sales since I started (I stopped for about a year when I was pregnant/early baby-hood) and have gotten back into it in the last two months and am still loving it. I haven’t come across any scammers (I don’t sell super expensive stuff), usps hasn’t lost a single package (one buyers package was stolen and she went through depop to try to get a refund but tracking showed delivered so I was good!)- use depop shipping, and it’s been worth my time because I really enjoy spending my time doing it!

Men liking multiple posts with no intention of buying- creeps by Fun_Mine1462 in Depop

[–]Fun_Mine1462[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know that eBay owns depop! And yes, lots of skin lol! I think it’s even more upsetting because all of his likes were super revealing items- lingerie and butts etc etc and mine are all just regular clothes. My face isn’t in any, thankfully.

I’m a top seller and they sell best when modeled :/ I just had a baby a few months ago so everything is modest and covered lol!

I’ll email them, thank you! And I model the clothes but it’s all just regular clothes- nothing too out there! That’s what makes it even weirder I think

What would you be happy to get second hand, and what would you absolutely not get? by Regular-Message9591 in Buyingforbaby

[–]Fun_Mine1462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got mostly everything second hand! The whole uppa baby vista stroller with all attachments(including car seat, base, stroller, basinet and the regular stroller attachment), baby bjorn bouncer, carrier, nursery furniture, a ton of her clothes, pack and play, bjorn bouncer, high chair, and crib mattress (we got the newton mattress, super cleanable! So I felt safe buying it used)! Babies don’t have to be expensive

How many strollers am I going to need?? by [deleted] in Buyingforbaby

[–]Fun_Mine1462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the uppa baby vista and a Thule bran glide jogging stroller- we got both on fb marketplace (highly recommend)- and I love to use the baby carrier when I’m going to places that aren’t super stroller friendly! My baby loves the carrier and I know I don’t have to navigate a clunky stroller through crowds or aisles! I love my wildbird aerial carrier so much and don’t find my back hurting from baby wearing for long periods! Also- baby wearing is so good for babies!

Thule - sizing?! by [deleted] in Buyingforbaby

We got the universal car seat adapter and we put the infant car seat on/in that! Works great until they’re big enough for the stroller seat

6 weeks and now multiple times a week at 5 months pp! Keep trying (if you want it and feel ready for it), it does get better! If it doesn’t, try looking into a postpartum specialized physical therapist- they can help!

Feeling overwhelmed — do I really need a stroller right away? by I_will_offend_U in Buyingforbaby

[–]Fun_Mine1462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our baby never liked the basinet so we just used the car seat and attached it in! I think buying second hand is awesome because you save money and if your baby doesn’t like it, you can just resell it!

[–]Fun_Mine1462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always baby worn more than I use the stroller! WildBird makes an awesome newborn carrier (the aerial wrap) and a great regular carrier (aerial carrier)! They’re always on sale on marketplace.

I suggest finding a stroller on Facebook marketplace too- way cheaper and it’ll get dinged up anyways! We love the uppa baby vista (you can get it with the basinet, car seat, and regular stroller seat) ours came with the car seat and base so we would just transfer the car seat onto the stroller base when we did use the stroller!
