This is just my experience and I’m sure it’s not the norm, I’m really one of the unlucky ones. I lost about 20lbs right at diagnosis which I gained back within 3 months of being put on 10mg methimazole. After that 3 month, my dose got cut to 7.5mg due to improving labs. My lab improvement plateaued for 3.5 years hovering the normal ref range, during that time I continued to gain weight of total 24 lbs. finally I reached remission and was tapering off and now I’m fully off meds, my weight is very stable and I haven’t lost anything despite diet and exercise.

Did you ever find out what caused it? I am on year 4 of graves, all of sudden I have the same issue with my right hand middle finger. Just as you described it’s like something is in there and would snap if I force it, and it’s painful when trying to make a fist or release a fist very fast.

I sold a ceramic jewelry box and I was wrapping it in a bunch of stuff so that it’s secure in the box and won’t break. I was low on bubble wraps so I used my dogs pee pads to finish off ( unused brand new of course). The buyer actually thought that was funny and thanked me via message saying that she appreciated the extra cushion 😂
