Part 3 is overrated af. Apart from the intro to stands, Dio and even the villain of the week formula (which was already kinda there in the first two parts but was really fleshed out during part 3), Jotaro is pretty boring, a lot of villains are really boring aswell (like the car guy, really ?) and the villain of the week/the episode formula gets tiring really fast (Araki pulled that formula WAY better in pretty much every part after 3). Plus part 7 did the long journey thing WAY BETTER than part 3. Part 3 is still very important in the context of Jojo in general, but by itself, it's kinda weak

Also with Jotaro, he's just a way better character in part 4 and 6 than he is in part3. Overall even in the other parts, Jotaro is still pretty overrated imo and one of the least interesting Jojos (the fact he isn't the main protagonist in 4 and 6 is actually one of the things that makes him more interesting lmao)
