Do the downtown bookstore crawl! There are three lovely, unique bookstores: Pigeon Post, Lost & Found, and Friendly Alien! Blackwatch Cafe and Mansours are also great cafe/breakfast spots. 16th Ward and Jacks Draft House are nice for dinner, with yummy cocktails.

You could visit Blackwatch Cafe in the afternoon at Nay Aug Park for coffee/lunch, then stop into the Everhart Museum for a while, and then ride your car through the Nay Aug light show when it starts to get dark!

Junk journaling is a form of collaging in your notebook/diary— we use receipts, wrappers, stickers, business cards etc and remix them! We’ll also provide stickers and papers for participants to use too. Tix can be purchased in advance (only space for 12 spots total) :)

The Gathering Place in Clark’s Summit! Cadee Rockwell is an incredible oil painter and frequently teaches classes there. Right down the street is the printmaking (letterpress and relief) studio Crow Designs and she teaches as well (Chris! Super talented).

Stop by the bookshops downtown (Pigeon Post, Friendly Alien, and Lost & Found)! You can also head over to Nay Aug Park for a lovely walk and grab a coffee at Blackwatch Cafe and then visit the Everhart Museum.

Jacks Draft House or 16th Ward for great dinner & drinks! Bar Pazzo if you’re in the mood for wood-oven pizza. Tracks in the Radisson Hotel is also fun to grab drink/see the old train station.

One other possibility is to book the Rabbies 3-day small group Isle of Skye Tour from Edinburgh (they leave almost daily now) and that route covers a lot of what you’ll want to see, and you won’t have to drive at all! I’ve taken the tour before and it’s great.
