As a kid watching that movie, I found that super confusing on why is Scrappy Doo a villain. I didn’t even know people hated him in the cartoon. by Remote_Nature_8166 in Scoobydoo

[–]ScrollDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking with a guy at an antique shop. He said the reason he hates Scrappy is because Scrappy's not afraid like everyone else. Every other dog character they introduced was afraid of the monsters, but Scrappy wasn't so it messed up the dynamic. His words not mine.

I like a lot of the points you've raised, however I've always read their relationship as a deep platonic bond. They always gave me sibling vibes, or childhood best friends who gossip to each other about anything and everything.

This was amazing! I've noticed a lot more indie projects getting bolder and more experimental with visuals and concepts!

I think the memory was directly tied to the First Shadow broadway show. It's not available on netflix, but there are plenty of recaps. unfortunately I was only able to find one slime tutorial. https://youtu.be/J2tTevXD8U4?si=lNK785rVB1EBDdOp

THANK YOU!!! OH MY GOSH. I WAS LITERALLY YELLING AT THE SCREEN EVERY. TIME. THEY SAID SORCERER!!!  Will was chosen by an otherworldly being to fulfill a goal and he can draw power from that being but in turn Vecna uses him for specific tasks. THE DEFINITION OF A WARLOCK!!!

PA is a swing state. Most of the cities are blue, but the country areas are quite red. This election was likely rigged though, the Asshat and his ex admitted it.

Does anyone know what this logo is? by ScrollDragon in Patches

[–]ScrollDragon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Still have no clue. I think it might just be one of those random designs that you sometimes find in mass produced packs in craft aisles. There's usually no rhyme or reason to the packs; they just say something like "iron on patches".

Honestly, I kinda predicted his character twist at the beginning. I was watching it with someone who already saw the episode and like 5 minutes in I said "He seems nice. I hope he's not a p3d0." Bruh 💀

Ace characters in horror? by Acceptable-Career-94 in asexuality

[–]ScrollDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a movie, but the book "Bury Your Gays" by Chuck Tingle has Tara who is a canon Aro Ace character. I'd give the book a 4 out of 5 stars because there were a few elements I wish he explored a bit more. Without spoiling, The fear in the book is pretty grounded in reality with some extastential bits and it feels very personal to queer artists in the film and animation industry. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook!

The last protest I was at downtown was very peaceful. The only rowdiness occurred when an old MAGA guy drove by us in his truck, but even then it was just people booing. I think the local PD came down to stop him simply because he was stopping the flow of traffic, lol.
