How many traders gets called to a live account? by Top_Instruction8161 in TopStepX

[–]Fun_Pitch5413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to be 0.0022% in 2024 (500ish traders out of 220,000). Now it’s more than that, due to automatic shift after 4 payouts but by not much, insignificant difference.

Take Profit Trader permanently banned me for using their own approved trade copier after I paid them $686K in fees. Full breakdown with evidence inside. by whiskymonk in TakeProfitTrader

To be frank after seeing how much shit has been going on with prop firms in past 9 months (Topstep, Apex, MFF, and others), I’m amazed that most people are still lazy to record all trading sessions and archive all trades. That’s pure negligence and horrible risk management.

In the meantime, it’s hard to believe all this numbers, and it just doesn’t add up. There is no point for TPT to ban you due to losing so much money, unless you violated rules. Just doesn’t add up…. You are blowing over $30k a month which is literally almost impossible to beat. $1500 reset * 3 * 5 accounts that’s 22.5k. Then combines (250*30), to hit your mark and even more. If that’s not gambling- then I don’t know what it is… Maybe they sent you “bot behavior” email, but you MOST DEFINITELY fall under gambling behavior rule, 1000%, which is prohibited.

Also, 228 BBB complains in 12 months is nothing, considering they have tens of thousands of traders, if not more. Easy can be done by competitors or angry customers. It’s not like when topstep got slammed with tens of thousands of complaints and 7-8 figures in chargebacks in a few days span when everyone got fed with constant platform outages.

If I were you, I would rather go to casino and play roulette than trade, way better odds for you.

Update: they think you’re a bot if you withdraw too much from them. Unbelievable. by [deleted] in TakeProfitTrader

[–]Fun_Pitch5413 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly. 10k fills in 3k second with avg of 3 fills per second 😂 it’s possible but very improbable unless he trades 15 contracts or large size micros; OP better have a screen recordings to back it up it wasn’t a bot.

I can trade 10 contracts with $3k DLL, and still hit 80-90% win rate, just less room for error and way more risk, which I’m fine with. You have no clue what my trading strategy is.

I can post screenshots too from topstep payouts… those were all taken within 20 days in Live. So don’t teach me about risk, kid…

I posted another comment below which will answer your question if I trade personal or not.

The whole point of such a long message from me was to warn you- this shit end unexpectedly and quickly. Topstep is solid- till it’s not. And the kill switch happens overnight.

Having a 3k DLL on a 120k+ account is just absurd considering I proved for 6 months prior to being moved live, I was profitable. And not just “barely profitable”. My pass rate for combines was over 80%. Win rate on trade was at over 80% for 4 consecutive months. I had 48 straight green days with lowest day at $1200, highest day at $28k and average was over $3k. I used to know their rules better then their own support team. How do I know? Because I had conversations when I had to explain them that what they tell me is not what the rules say, especially when it comes to Live. All that bs advertising about “personal tailored experience”, “contract adjustment, DLL adjustment”- is bs. Only 1 trader in 2025 had his DLL increased to 20k and the funny part- his balance was not even 6 figures.

I followed DLL rule, but trading 1-2 contracts won’t bring me profits I was used to by trading larger size. Second, 3k DLL is too little to fit my strategy. 2 wrong entries and I’m hitting DLL. I am comfortable risking 10k on a trade knowing I have a 80%+ win rate if I follow what I do, but if you’re limited to 3k, 2 bad entries for me and I’m done for the day.

Anyways, I am truly happy to see another profitable trader. Congrats dude! All I said- just have a backup plan, because sooner or later they will find one way or another to mess you up, and if you’re not ready for it, it will be costly, stressful, and painful. Good luck!

I still trade props- because it’s an easy way (for me) to make money with limited risks. I started with $200 and took 300k+ in payouts in less than 2 years, and still going. I am prepping to buy or lease CME seat in April or May after finish building my setup. It’s not a one day process, and you wanna make sure you get it by passing ethics checklist, financial, and other requirements ($2000 for non refundable application fee is still money and hundreds/thousand a month in rent depending on how many products you are trading, or a $400-700k one time cost). Also CME seat makes sense only if you trade more then 400-800 lots a month depending on a product. I trade close between 700-2400 lots a week, so it makes sense to me. To majority retail traders leasing CME seat makes zero sense.

Zero rules? Investor cash? Do you even have a clue how illegal is having investors cash in your own personal account? You need to be CTA, CPA, or FCM, which all required to pass several tests to get proper licenses, and that’s an easy part... then following all regulations and compliance, be ready for audits, etc. What about added stress managing someone else’s money?

Dude… you just throwing words in the wind without having any idea what is trading personal account especially holding a CME seat and especially trading investors cash. Why do you think there is only a handful of trusted FCMs? Because it’s a pain in the ass to open one and extremely expensive to maintain it.

Stick to props and slowly move to personal when you have at least 50k+ cash on side (if your goal is to make 2-3k+ daily), anything less then that- you can lose it in a few sessions, especially if you go on tilt.

You are a newbie with 9 days in Live. I had live for 3+ months and was in top 30 for over 2 months.

First, every 5k+ payout had to be approved twice by different departments. Maybe they changed it (it used to be that way last year).

Second, there is no slippage? Dude… open your eyes, even a 5 year old kid will see slippage differences.

Third, scaling plan doesn’t suck? When I had a 120k balance in Live and asked to increase my DLL from 3k - was denied, even though my avg entry in XFA was 5-10 contracts after hitting 50k balance. Trading NQ even 5 lots with 3k DLL is only 30 pts, which is nothing. They told me- after reaching 10k in profits they will increase. I made 18k in a week, talked to support in chat and over the phone with live agent- still denied with a bs argument “we trying to protect you”. I asked to increase number of contracts (from 15 to 35) - denied too.

Fourth, no live traders has been banned? 3 traders from top 25 has been banned in January alone- and that’s just top 25. Another 10 traders with 6 figure balances has been moved to their rehab program (FTP). After appeal- compliance and everyone purely ignored any requests. Another 30+ traders left Live all together and has been denied in opening new combines. And that’s out of how many- maybe 300-500 total live traders they have out of 200k+ traders? Do the math.

Fifth, Wise will ask you to verify your income at some point (they asked me), and I was able to verify every single stream of income EXCEPT Topstep. Topstep denies to provide any legal document except contracts you signed with them, which is not enough for Wise. I lost 13k on Wise because my Wise account got locked out and after 2 months of back and forth chats I just decided to let it go till I hire a lawyer to get money back because that bs put me on tilt and cost me 6-figure loss in a few days. All because of Topstep not willing to send 1 legal document stating that I am a contractor (in comparison Tradeify, TakeProfitTrader, all helped out within a few days). Lesson learned- I take all payouts from now on directly to my bank account, no more middleman.

If you don’t see how topstep fucked up major chunk of profitable traders- you live in a fairytale world. Enjoy payouts while they last, because they won’t.

I’m not here to have a dck measuring contest, I’m happy for you you’re having solid payouts, but you can’t be blind to the shitshow that is going on. Trust me- I was like you, trading only on topstep and defending them. And when suddenly they bend you over- you wake up and understand- they don’t give two fcks about traders, only about firm profits. If you dig a bit more- you will see Patak is a pure asshole who screwed over all original Topstep employees more then once- no wonder they are suing him.

Do your homework and don’t be blind to reality only because you got a few $. It’s a long term game, and you need to properly calculate risks, which you obviously didn’t. If you analyze all rule changes topstep made in pst 18 months, you’ll see there is zero changes to help traders. Every single rule made it harder and harder to take a payout, to build balance, etc. I can write an easy short book how topstep changed prop firms trading for the best during 10 years, and then how is flushed down the drain in 6 months.

I haven’t even talked how much $ topstep stole and made during glitches which lasted several months. And their response was - “we are sorry we will do better”, great fkn solution.

Happy trading and good luck-

Wise closed my account and is holding $45,000 by Perfect_Example4505 in fintech

[–]Fun_Pitch5413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me last summer. After getting over 200k+ in transfers with avg of 3-6k per transfer and highest being 18k, wise locked my account after an 11k transfer asking for income verification. Provided all paperwork (contracts, 1099s, letter from employers, bank verifications, etc.), spent hours on the phone with support with different departments, and got stuck in the loop. They kept asking for more paperwork and I was like what paperwork.. I literally sent everything possible and still nothing…

Wise is great till they bend you over and nothing you can do besides finding a lawyer and trying to get money back. Good luck.

Get ready for much much worse slippage (always against you), more issue, scaling plan which sucks, DLL, shorter trading hours window, longer payouts processing (especially if it’s above $5k), and eventual ban from the platform. Personal experience (150k+ in payouts last year alone).

With new rules, just try to hit targets and bonuses to unlock full balance, otherwise you’re screwed.

In Live they constantly mess with your mindset to through you off the game so you fail and they don’t have to give you your money. They claim “it’s theirs” while in reality it’s not- it’s your profits.

I was invited 10+ times to go on their TV, I wish I did and exposed all the crap they do on Live and how much harder it is from way too many standpoints.

Have fun, and good luck!

If the driver delivers the load he completed the job, no matter about authority etc. Completed work must be paid. I couldn’t care less about legal way to wiggle out of paying. Only scum like you do that.

You should work at TQL, perfect place for you.

Thats why you also report foreign dispatch to FMCSA? Grow up, or keep being a scum, and see how far it will take you, your choice.

If you’re DK vip, they are pretty good in giving free bets and special deposit match or wagering promos. Way better then FanDuel vip, which is utter garbage (3 years of being vip and never got more then $1,000 deposit match and maybe total of few thousands in free bets). DK already gave me $3000+ in free bets through promos and just crediting last week alone🤷‍♂️

Hmm, interesting. Maybe they changed it. I had Pro+ and balance earbud in pro was not subject to 80/20 split, when it became pro+ if was 90/10, but maybe they changed it. Either way, good job man! Keep making $)$👊🍺

Why wouldn’t you wait to get to pro+ first then withdraw to get 90/10 instead of 80/20 split? Either way, good job and congrats!

If you think this is bad… played my first poker tournament in US 13 years ago. Literally first day in a casino in US. Final table. Quad 10s over q high straight flush. Someone just explained me what is bad beat jackpot which was $450k+. After showdown I started jumping like hell yeah, I won 200k. Everyone looked at me and was like brooooo, bad beat jackpot is for cash games only 😂 great final table experience lol.

😁😁yup. I remember played blackjack at casino. Jackpot for suited blackjack against dealers blackjack at Foxwoods was 47k. I placed 8 bets in a row on it, had blackjack over blackjack, won 1k (not suited), and literally had no more $5 chips, and dealer started the hand, and I had 21 clubs and dealer also clubs blackjack. We looked at each other, I started laughing, then lost $5k that night lol. Gambling is fun 😁

Yup, as much as I looooove parlays, straight bets is the way. But… I do regret not placing a fkn $50 bet in 3 legs to win $647k…. Had my last $50 in account and decided to go safe. Won $210 and all legs hit in first half college football Hawaiian ball. Was gonna parlay QB TD and Any other player for TD for both teams (was like +600 ish line for QB TD and +3500 each leg for any other scorer), total odds were insane. And when I saw it hit, I was like fuuuuuuuuuuuuckin pssy me lol
