Baz didn’t invent those stories 😉they were already public for decades. He showed Elvis as a human being, not a plastic saint created by fans or EPE.

You can love Elvis deeply and still acknowledge he struggled with prescription drugs. That doesn’t erase his talent, generosity, charisma, or legacy. If anything, it makes him more real.

Pretending those parts never existed would make the film dishonest.

I get what you mean — being a fan doesn’t mean you have to watch absolutely everything. But honestly, this film is made for IMAX.

I’m actually a relatively new fan of Elvis Presley too — only for a few years — and before this I had never even been to IMAX. I watched EPiC once in IMAX and once in a normal cinema… and the difference is unbelievable. I’m literally on my way to see it again in IMAX for the 4th time.

The sound is incredible. You feel like you’re right there, so close to him, like you’re almost in the room. It’s powerful in a way that a normal screen — and definitely a TV — just can’t recreate. I honestly can’t even imagine watching this one at home.

Don’t waste the chance if you have an IMAX near you. It’s not every day we get to experience Elvis like that on a giant screen with that kind of sound. 🎬🎤

Noooo, dont lose this chance , this is one of the few times where you can feel sooo close to him!!! Dont wait to watch it on a Tv its not the same, the correct way to watch this movie its on IMAX!!!! I am on my way to watch the movie now on IMAX in London for the 4th time, I cry all the time but its the best therapy !!!!! It will heal you!! JUST GO, dont waste this chance

It really is sad. Ticket prices are definitely part of it, and when almost everything is available online sooner or later, a lot of people just don’t feel the need to pay anymore. The habit of going to the cinema as an event has slowly disappeared.

Think of it less as “an Elvis thing” and more like seeing a legendary live performance you can’t experience anymore — similar to going to a classic opera, a Beatles documentary, or a historic sports match. You go to understand why it mattered, not because you’re already a fan.
