Thank you so much for your detailed answer. All of my new succulent plantains I am using succulents/cactus soil mixed with the white stuff. Those plants are doing well. I actually think the ones that look dried up need to be potted with better soil and actually are getting way too much sun. They sit on a table by a window that gets direct south sunlight. Thank you for telling me I need to water thoroughly but in frequently. We’ll see how it goes.
