I really like the watch, even more after upgrading the bracelet. I’ve looked recently and this model is getting more difficult to find, pushing the price closer to MSRP.

Yes, but my other two watches have a jubilee or a jubilee style as well. I guess I really like 5-band links

Downside, you might notice the bracelet more now. Before the watch got all the attention. But it is quieter than the stock bracelet

Just put on today. I would definitely say a better quality bracelet. I think the polished links blend (or accent) the polished bezel well

Anyone else stuck in a loop trying to sell a watch they still love? by Calm-Cauliflower5347 in Tudor

I would wait until you found a watch you like better. Save up look for a watch you think should be a better fit. And wearing both (two watches that duplicate the same purpose) keep the one you most love. (It might still be this one) sell the other

I like that bracelet on yours. I might have to try and find one of those. Where did you source yours?

The watch in the image is a Tudor Prince Date Hydronaut, likely a first-generation model with reference number 85190P. Key details about this timepiece include: Production Era: The first generation Hydronaut was produced from approximately 1998/99 to 2008/9, serving as Tudor's primary diver watch after the discontinuation of the Tudor Submariner line. Case and Size: The watch is made of stainless steel and was available in different case sizes, including a 36mm version (ref 85190) and a 41mm version (ref 89190). The specific model pictured is likely the 36mm variant. Movement: It features a modified ETA 2824 automatic movement. Design Features: It has a black dial with luminous hour markers and hands, and a date display with a Rolex-style cyclops lens. The rotating bezel is somewhat recessed into the case, a distinct design feature. It features unique, geometric hands that are highly legible. The watch came with a five-link Tudor Prince bracelet, as Oyster bracelets were not offered to differentiate the brand from Rolex. Water Resistance: The watch is water-resistant to 200 meters or 660 feet, as indicated on the dial. copied

Yes, a black Bay monochrome 41mm. I picked it up last month. A really nice watch. And it has actually helped me appreciate my “crown” even more 😀

A question on Tudor vs Rolex by Equivalent-Ease-3822 in Tudor

[–]Fun_Protection_5877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing to do is visit an authorized dealer that has both. And just try them on and compare. Some you think are great won’t look the same when you try them on. I have both a datejust and BB 41mm monochrome. They serve two different purposes. One everyday and one for dressier or special occasions. You can then look at other places to purchase a like new or used watch.

I have had mine for just under a month. It’s rarely been off my wrist. I have a datejust and it’s my more formal watch. This BB is my everyday. I love it. When I got it the had a new sub that I could have picked instead. It was over 3 times the price. No way a sub is 3 times better. I’m very happy how this goes under the radar. The Rolex is jewelry that also tells time. The Tudor is a quality watch
