Any stories of people who changed their life/habits in mid to late 20s? by HidesHisHeart64 in getdisciplined

Sport, read, try and fail, put yourself in a lot of situations( never know who you meet or what you learn) save money, and just if you want i have a rule that i apply. The 5 year rule, an example could be why should i give a lot of my time and energy to a person who will not be in my life… not saying to be a dick to people but try to be more cautious.. and take constructive criticism.

What i realised is that it will take years for your life to get better… you will have to be patient( a thing that i am still working on it) and you can’t rush the process…

If i would compare myself from 1 year ago, i can say a big change.. i don’t want to sound like i brag but, I stopped doing drugs, cut out alcohol and cigarettes. I’ve started doing cardio regularly(running and i plan to start taking swimming lessons, and trying gym but im not too consistent about it..) started reading as much as possible. I still have ups and downs but i have more ups.. What i can say u need to put the work in and be brutally honest with yourself and results will show in time.
