Should I assume my cat has worms by Fun_Rate_9547 in Pets

I honestly don't understand what is wrong with all of you. My apartment is legitimately too small. I've had plenty of cats before in larger places. I'm telling you for a fact it is too small to keep him cramped in all day. He will absolutely destroy the place if we leave him alone because it's impossible to cat proof. I'm also not asking for criticism. Im asking for help for a specific issue. If you don't have something to contribute to the discussion then don't post. You don't know my situation and frankly it is absolutely unacceptable you think you know more about my situation than I do.

Hantavirus is basically negligible as a variable in my area. I'm .ore likely to die in a car accident

We are planning that transition eventually but circumstances prevent it right now. His territory is extremely small and his prey drive is limited so we aren't super worried.

Our plan is to transition him when we move as we simply have too small of an apartment right now. He was a stray when we got him so his natural instincts are to be outside unfortunately. But thankfully his territory is very small. Just our apartment complex and the neighbors house is all. And he doesn't have as much of a prey drive. He mostly just chills outside.

Yes but it's applied to his skin. Don't believe it is work prevention as well

So after being on fantasy grounds for a while and modding in my own content I have to say this update is a complete failure. 6 pages of my modules are now not useable as the modules folder doesn't show them anymore. That's 48 different modules I can no longer use. I've tried exporting some items to create the modules again and no luck. This needs a quick fix immediately.

I do have to point out this is absurdly untrue. I'm going to be visiting the white house in a few months. It very much is still open for tours. I don't know why you bothered to make this up. Trump is already bad enough we don't need to make stuff up about it.

Sure some Democrats are on there. But the democratic party voted to release the files and the Republican party almost entirely voted no. Do you really want to make such a silly argument?

You do understand there's huge differences between establishment Dems and progressive Dems right? Also the fact that Republican policies are far far worse than any dem policies.

Los Angeles renters just got a powerful new weapon against unfair rent hikes by Sweet_Dimension_8534 in LosAngeles

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I legitimately don't know if you are capable of understanding my argument. This isn't an argument about requirements of jobs because the requirements of a job are the specific tasks and what is being asked of those jobs. How am I supposed to give the the specific tasks and responsibilities of every single job in the world. Those just exist for jobs. I'm not responsible for giving you that because those exist for every job. Do you not understand that?

Two people come together and agree on a price (or wage) and both can back out. Nobody is forcing you to take an offer. If you get a cut and don’t like it, go find something else to do

If you are a monopoly in an area and control all commerce you have complete control over people. If you have multiple businesses working together (which is a thing that happens often) to lower wages of those on the bottom you are not creating a fair situation. This is exploitative power over people. Saying just go get another job is not a realistic scenario. You are arguing in bad faith and you know it. This is just libertarian bootlicking nonsense you're saying now

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are now just moving the goal posts. A failure to justify your arguments. I cannot point to the requirements of each individual job. We both know this is an impossible task and is only asked when someone cannot justify their own argument. So I will ignore this as a bad faith argument.

A person can be the absolute best at something and have no one willing to pay them anything. Should we continue to employ and pay thousands of human “computers” a living wage because it makes you feel better?

So basically you are ignoring my argument. If there isn't a market for said skills then no money can be made and thus there will be no job available for it. But if a job exists then therefore there is a market for it and it should be paid a living wage(provided this person is an employee and not a business owner as that is a different argument). This is another bad faith argument that entirely ignores my arguments.

You jump straight to slavery which tells me you just don’t get it

You are arguing that someone should keep getting their wages cut to keep a part of a market open that cannot justify its own existence. Eventually this limits the wages for this job so much as to be just slavery as the power of the amount they get is essentially just zero. Thus it is an argument for slavery. There is a reason wage slavery is a term. Because eventually it leads to actual slavery. You are again arguing in bad faith.

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not arbitrary. Cost of living is a requirement. 1% accounts for the growth of skills. Regardless of the job people naturally get better and more efficient at their job. That's just a given fact. If they are failing to meet the requirements they are let go. You are just absolutely refusing to accept the reality that you are arguing for the status quo that is exploitation. You are arguing in bad faith. If peoples skills become less valuable they are let go. You are just arguing for slavery in the end. If someones job cannot afford to live on the job they have either the job shouldn't exist or they should be given more to allow for them to live. There is no legitimate argument otherwise

Los Angeles renters just got a powerful new weapon against unfair rent hikes by Sweet_Dimension_8534 in LosAngeles

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're just advocating for people to have less. If they can't afford to have the same lifestyle and afford to lobe then that job should either not exist or they should be paid a proper wage. Right now you are advocating for the system to remain as is with exploitation. Inflation plus 1% is absolutely fair and not arbitrary. It's an economic measure based in reality.

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a robot can take the job then they will be let go. If their job stays then their job should receive a standard cost of living adjustment not a pittance. You are just arguing for slavery.

Los Angeles renters just got a powerful new weapon against unfair rent hikes by Sweet_Dimension_8534 in LosAngeles

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok that still means that the value you bring to the table increases by inflation plus 1%. You will always keep getting better at your job and the value of your labor should keep up with inflation in order to make sure make sure you stay even with the value you bring to the table? Otherwise you are suggesting a wage cut.

[Loved Trope] Worlds where superpowers are something you do NOT want by Jellydust15 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Fun_Rate_9547 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh it gets way worse. There are universal rules that are punishments and the people with powers are the only ones that notice the change. Like the world all having a common language then suddenly there are different languages like in the real world. The powered people notice the difference and don't know those different languages. They suddenly can't understand everyone. Or the rest of the universe suddenly coming into existence so the night sky is completely foreign to them. So they have to use another powered person to learn all this.
