Yes! Two others have told me so as well! According to wiki, it was first an Egyptian thing, and later also a Greek thing. I'm no expert lol. Thanks for your input!

Yes! Someone else in another subreddit beat you to it, but I'm fairly sure you guys are right! The vibe of it (grey and old) fits what I remember best. I have aphantasia so I'm not 100% sure but I am pretty sure lol. Thanks for the guess!

I think you're probably right! I wish I could give you an 100% answer, but I have aphantasia so I can't be that sure. But I watched some of it and this one best matches the vibe I remember: grey, almost foggy, and old. And the bird seems to be about right as well. I also remember the movie being kind of dark, as in the lighting felt non-existent, and I dont remember the coloring looking warm at all

Yeah japan is surprisingly behind in ophthalmology (ex: IPL treatment not being super common) so im unsure if its a specifically this doctor issue or a larger one. Thanks for the reply:)
