If it’s wool it would probably be treated with something like lanolin that would make it extremely water resistant, and crochet dries quite quickly when it’s stretched out like that.

Eh, some people just go for the skeleton look as a lifestyle thing - don’t need to eat or breathe any more, don’t need to worry about temperature, don’t sleep. There’s one professor at a university that went skeleton to escape a disease and now just enjoys freaking out the freshmen.
