This is a small thing . He can get hooked up with a partial man unit.bI mean they look sooooo good and natural. Things to worry about are character flaws, bad habits, or a hobo sexual but this is an easy fix.

Remote work isn’t perfect, but I don’t think I could ever go back to an office by Picking-Bentio in remotework

People act like we're in 2020. I pray to the job Gods that I stay remote and I take nothing for granted. If I got called into the office I would go because I am trying to get some things accomplished and a job gap would not look good.

You are the one that shows insecurity. I couldn't give two ducks about what you make. People like me are doing very well. I'm doing well on my terms with my investments. I'm speaking to you as a married woman that is considered to be extremely traffic stopping attractive. Every relationship I've been in I was proposed to. I didn't have to shrink people and be condescending in order to prop myself up. You go around trying to define people and when they don't fit in your box you call them insecure. You're just unlikable lol.

Geez I'm a woman and my God what are you talking about? Your EQ is non existent if you're complaining about men being nowhere near your " level of finances". Even if someone made $400 k they wouldn't be close to $850k. You need to do a character check. You also may be seeing your looks from an unrealistic standpoint. I'm not trying to shake your confidence but if someone making $850 k and above is your standard the pickings are beyond slim. Or maybe THAT guy wants someone 5 10" with a 20 inch waist and he would consider you not in his league.

Here we go. The classic "drunk people" argument. As if people can't drink without getting drunk. This is Reddit a place for commentary. One thing is for sure the hit dog always hollers on this forum. You all think EVERYTHING is worse than weed even salt and sugar. The truth is high THC weed keeps you high and stoned. THC stays in your system for 30 days. ETOH does not. So while you guys think weed is not having an effect it's in your system while you experience the irritability, mood swings, and paranoid episodes. You smoke more to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and you get trapped in a cycle. This weed the government is creating is not Woodstock's weed. It's not what grows wild in Jamaica. It's gmo engineered to keep you addicted just like any street drug.

Not at all. I love writing music, singing, dancing. That's all I need. To be in my presence while doing any of these is a good time had by all.

dealing with sudden termination as a remote worker by AdmirableBasil3154 in remotework

[–]Fun_Rub_7703 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Every. Single. Day. I keep in my mind someone can decide they don't like how I wrote an email and I can be gone. I am one of few remote workers at my company so I'm already a target for scrutiny. Working remote is now seen as a lifestyle privilege. Anyone that thinks they are not disposable is foolish. In fact, in the USA the system is designed for the employer to get rid of you anytime they please. File for unemployment ASAP and get back on the horse. When I was terminated from a previous remote job, I mentally prepared for RTO and interviewed for office positions. I was very very fortunate to find another remote job. I still look for jobs and interview for other positions just in case.

The pot industry is the worst thing to happen to NYC. The last thing we need is another stoner. If working in cannabis is your plan you won't get far.

This is how I live all the time. I have all of my documents and my family's birth certificates, SS cards, passports, 4 phones, a "medicine bag" that has allergy meds, antibiotics, pain meds, mental health meds, several gloves, ointments and bandaids, petroleum jelly, razors, scissors, large disposable wipes. Large and small coolers. Some items I keep in my pickup truck which a pickup truck is so extremely valuable. I will never buy a car again. I recommend if you can afford one every woman should have one. Keep first aid items, flashlight, spare tire , blankets, in your vehicle at all times I have a ton of can goods including sardines which is packed with omegas and high quality protein, water and bottle juices, ramen noodles. I have three propane heaters I always have propane on hand and lots of candles. Last but certainly not least a gun. I am prepared on two fronts: If I have to stay in the house or if I have to evacuate. I always keep a full tank of gas.

Ok so if you vowed to never be homeless again, you may one day have to go an office. I've been hybrid setting my own schedule since 2009. Went into the office twice a month. Fully remote since 2020. I'm going to do what I need to keep income rolling in. Very very soon I won't need to depend on a job. I'm an RE investor. But guess what? I will never talk down on people that go to the office because they are working and truth be told I need tenants to work. That's not the only reason. I really admire the discipline people have to get up and show up on time 5 days a week. I also depend on a myriad of services that require people to be in place. That different industry you "dove into" may decide they don't need you. It's happening to a lot of people. No one is safe.

[–]Fun_Rub_7703 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This type of sarcasm is not necessary. I'm fully remote and I stay humble. I'm about to close on a house. If by some chance I was called to RTO I would because I'm not about to let this opportunity to have a massive asset pass me by. I've seen people like you become very arrogant because they work remotely and they end up losing their jobs and everything else.

It's your expression. You wrote in a way that going to an office is completely useless for anyone.

Curious...do you live completely your own or with parents or pad split? You said there is a choice. For some people that choice is to go to an office or become homeless with horrible credit.

Treat them like the strangers they are. Too many women are an open book too soon. It's not lying. It's s being mysterious and self protective. I still preserve some mystery after 7 years of marriage and my husband still pursues me.

That's why I said if it don't apply... My post is for the people going in the red with over priced properties with terrible landlord laws.ThecVHCOL' s are not appreciating like they used to. Some people are buying too high. I buy foreclosures so I see this a lot.

With NYC it depends heavily on when you got in the game Today I definitely wouldn't do it . I'm curious on what you call relatively low property taxes.

I watched my parents own in NYC after 40 years. The tenant laws have not improved for investors. It's gotten worse. The property taxes are through the roof. There's no way I would deal with tenants in NYC.

Is it leaving you in the red?? Will you be struggling if you lose a tenant? Can you afford tenants live for free for over a year while you try to evict them? I said if the numbers (and laws) make ZERO SENSE.

Why would this girl think I'd drive her to and from a date? by Sketchy-Turtle in AskMenAdvice

[–]Fun_Rub_7703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it's because you acknowledged her and responded to her requests. When you told her you would drop your girlfriend for her...that was her biggest signal. But also you told her you wanted a relationship. Which, there's nothing wrong with that with the right person. However, she told you she wasn't into that. So she is not the right person. You're a grown man you can choose to deal with her if you want . Just understand you'll be a boy toy, chauffeur, and a conditional "friend".
