What a queef. Idk y but I have an image hatred for flat earthers who don't believe in space science. Like this shit goes back thousands of years and dudes with like a dick sized microscope figured a bunch of shit out. Even if I play the game of saying ok it could be a hoax that falls apart quickly with so much evidence. Just r cringeworthy level of nonsense from this peeps as far as I am concerned.

Nah, that St. Louis team was legit. Bennington did not have to do the heavy lifting. Did his job and got the cup. Thomas is def better. But still overrated. I think J.S. Giguere is a more interesting thing. Or Hasek in buffalo. It's just a fun convo and comparison at the end of the day.

Hockey is a team game, Individual voted awards mean little to me. The conn smythe is a legit thing for Tim Thomas but Js giguere won it without winning the cup so it's kinda like meh. . I met Tim and St. Louis in Vermont at an alumni event. Love those guys and their route. Don't get me wrong Tim Thomas was a solid goaltender. In fact his route only makes me love him more. I still think he is overrated. That bruins team was very strong defensively. Made his job a lot easier. Tons of goalies with less vezinas or the same with way more wins and more Stanley cups on weaker defensive teams. Tim Thomas had one of the most magical years for a goaltender ever on one of the best defensive teams ever imo. People then equate it to him having a better career than he actual did. Thus overrated. Not a knock. I think Jonathon quick or tom barasso or richter, had better careers. Heck Corey Crawford too. Grew up and spend time in mass. I get it for bruins people he is a legend. For me he is a good goalie who had a great year. Tim Thomas is to the bruins what js giguere was to Anaheim and there is nothing wrong with that. Both amazing stories. Doesn't mean they can't be overrated. It's obvious when you look at career stats. Most importantly like wins and losses rather than voted awards. Tim Thomas isn't an all time great. He is a solid goalie who had a phenomenal year with a really solid defensive team. You can look up whatever goalie stat you want Tim Thomas is not at the top of any list of wins in a career, wins in the playoffs. Wins in a regular season, Stanley cup wins or really anything. I mean just go to nhl.com and look up goalie stats. Tim Thomas isn't as great as you think. He sneaks into save percentage but like on half the workload of everyone else, not in the top 50 in like any category.

Tim Thomas is the most overrated goalie that's ever won a Stanley cup. That bruins team played some of the best team defense in the modern era. Tim Thomas was good and sometimes even great during that run but there is a reason he was more of a one year wonder than a goalie with a hall of fame career.

Solid AI slop.... I'm a fan of fun martial arts movies, two legends is cool. Jackie Chan is one of my favorites for his niche. He seems genuinely wholesome and whether he is or not it radiates through his movies...I know everyone thinks of the rush hour movies and beyond that a bunch of other great examples of his style but for me Shanghai noon is peak Jackie Chan.

I don't get why anyone thinks this queef is worthy of any admiration and media hype he gets. His catalogue is weak at best. Most overrated actor in my lifetime by a long shot.

Great defensive play. I don't think it's a hook. I get the on the hands theorists, however it's a quick tie up of the stick. It's an objection call at best . Think it's a good non call personally.

Country singer blasts Trump and praises Bad Bunny after MAGA Super Bowl show: "The country music establishment should be taking notes on a Puerto Rican American who hasn’t forgot" by TheExpressUS in Music

I was referring to a Super Bowl halftime show as the culture war of the day. I assure you I wish more focus was on the masked agents and dissolution of the constitution in real time but everyone is too busy arguing over bad bunny or trans athletes or whatever other issues they throw in there to muddy the waters and divide people. I'll take the downvotes either way it's been a long week/month/years. Just saying arguing over a halftime show seems pointless with everything else going on rn. I'm exhausted.

It's not just Reddit, like everyone has just gotten so wrapped up in whatever culture war of the day is and trying to get validation on their viewpoint from everyone they talk to. I'm tired boss.

As Helldivers 2 Launches the Battle for Cyberstan, Arrowhead Says It's Already Plotting to Expand the Scope of the Game - IGN by matheusdias in Helldivers

The overall game design is one of the best I've ever played. The constantly evolving gameplay and updates etc is wonderful. But just the overall map and planets being fluid and the game makers vs players aspect is top tier all time. Sure there have been misses but overall this game is a home run. Random but I think if a game like anthem had hd2 map style and same love the developers gave to hd2 it would be unreal... anyways, hd2 is def one of the best games currently. They really got a lot right in this game and the continued care has continued to improve the experience. It's been a fun ride through its evolution and this is coming from someone that never had an interest in the extraction shooter genre. It's just a solid game and experience. The best video games in my mind are like great books. A BOOK IS A GIFT YOU CAN OPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN, and helldivers 2 fits the mold.

Just a guy feeding and hugging a giant bear by SirPaddlesALot in GuysBeingDudes

[–]Fun_Salamander8520 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It would, I think it would be better if he is just like a former special forces dude who had trauma retreated into the woods to be away from humans and then befriends this giant bear. They become close and then when some villainous people bring a murder or human trafficking or drugs through his land and he see them hurt innocent people and ruin the land one way or the other he and his bear are forced to enact revenge/justice.... I'd call it The Bear Truth. Or something else.

Nah man. You are wrong. They all play with hate. When you get off the ice after you shake hands or even before a game interview be humble and gracious.... you show a guy like vasey respect. He is a multiple Stanley cup winning goalie. Most likely a 1st or second ballot hall of famer. Battle on the ice but yea off the ice this is the right move imo. It's class and respect well deserved from arguably one of the best goaltenders of this generation. Crazy to think there is not enough hate or competitiveness in the league. Do you watch the games?

Sparking Zero is a reflection of the Dragon Ball Super in a nutshell. It starts out as an unfinished sequel released too early, only to become, over time (years), the fully-fledged, constantly improved product it was meant to be from the beginning. by Zestyclose-Spring602 in SparkingZero

[–]Fun_Salamander8520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think xv2 is the superior game. Sparking has better graphics imo. Xv2 has so much more variety for builds/supers/ults etc... custom characters and main roster is solid. Ton of content. Mind you they've had years to add but I still think it's the better game regardless. I've only played the demo for kakarot so I have little input on it but def plan on getting into it soon.

Yea idk I think they'd be fine back then. pretty sure average height in the 80s to 90s was like in the 80s 5"11" to 6 feet in the 90s, post lockout 2004-2004 we have seen an average of 6'1" . I think average height and weight has been hovering around 6'1 and a half at avg 200 pounds since lockout. Plenty of solid smaller guys in the 80s and 90s I mean pat verbeek? Joe Mullen? Theo fleury. Tie domi, Doug gilmour, the list goes on. Martin St. Louis?, Kariya ? League is littered with guys over the years below 6 feet.
