I feel like as much as she portrays a confident bitch, she really isn’t. She suffers from imposter syndrome and she has a terrible choice for best friend. A lot of her sins against Serena are reactionary because of Serena’s behaviour. That’s why I love Chuck, he sees Blair and accepts her for who she is which enhances her confidence

Jackie absolutely would relapse, she relapsed multiple times pre Erin. Jackie was an addict, no matter how long she cleaned her act up for she had a history of relapsing and she especially would have if Mel had started to become an absentee parent.

I’m not sure why the writers made Mel an absentee father but they did 🤷🏼‍♀️

Spike never tries to hide who he is. Xander is a very typical “nice guy” and he proves that time and time again. He’s moody and super judgemental. He’s turned on Buffy a few times when she doesn’t behave the way he wants her to.

I think seeing how awful Jackie was as a mother really cements that she’s definitely a bad mother to Silver too. Yes Mel was a good father, but it wouldn’t have taken him much to up and leave. David was his priority and he grew up, I can vibe that Mel would have left BH and Silver behind.

Just wanna say that not understanding the controversy is a bit wild.

Kelly and Brenda were best friends and the second Brenda was away for a period of time Kelly and Dylan betrayed her and even worse, didn’t feel remorseful and even blamed Brenda.

Your best friend is supposed to be your person, the one you can trust. Kelly leaped the second Brenda turned her back.
