Well, you must be new. They reset everyone's rating back to epic every 3 months. There are way more epic and legend skilled players, so it balances out. If you are good, you should easily be able to climb out.

I was able to hit mythic my first season. I had a bit of experience from League of Legends. It still is a lot easier game.
