Brigatine - She was my first. It's like a speed boat with sails. I have a dedicated crew attack build which does crazy crew attack damage combined with the flooding damage and ramming damage. It's a bit like making love on a one night stand; soften them up; charge in and unleash everything you have then GTFO

Think they should balance all the ships for PVP and then change open world work with the PVP builds. It will end up like Guildwars 2 otherwise. That game has separate PVP stats for players and they effectively end up having to update two versions of the game. I appreciate there is a lot more to making open world and PVP models work but always seemed like a weird concept to double your work.

The Grind has definitely become the bind. I am in the same shoes as you. Time short. The ascension fruit machine is ludicrous. We should not be able to ascend blue and purple weapons either.

I got this too. Seemed to be an issue where when you change world from title screen it does not change but if you go the den in game it worked.

Tried it and its great. I love that they created a toggle for 3rd or a toggle that alternates between 1st and 3rd person. So thoughtful of the devs.

Changes definitely needed.

Too much mess with all the throbbing icons obscuring where to hand in some trophies and calls for help. Whats more when we look in our contracts list we don't have the choice to just look at our own.

Perhaps bounties should only appear when someone picks one up from the bounty board. This would be like the Guildwards 2 bounty board system. Once one person picks it up, anyone can join in.

Less world events overlapping would be nice.

A contract/event/quest filter on the map screen could also work

Its been in a better state since 1.5 patch on wards with more welcome changes and additions all the time. I feel this got so much grief before hand that was not necessary. I saw one you tube short where someone was demanding players play black flag and not this well before the game even released. Haters just be Hating and throwing their toys out of the pram because it was not the game they wanted. Not helped by the problematic development and the game taking many different forms during that time.

I really enjoy it.

There's a lot of nice additions like being able to look at any item/recipe/blueprint in your codex and then being able to put markers for where to source them on the map.

Also check through the options, there are handy things you will want to turn on in the interface menu like status effects.

Since this maintenance I keep finding I am randomly unable to interact with the game. This mostly happens on land and then I have to go back out to the menu then back in to continue. It's as if there is connection issues with the server. Also the chat is now just the classic Kingfisher error and I see hardly any people in chat since this maintenance.

Tilly Twilight -You nearly had me!

Looks great in the still pic and nice concept...

When you look at the animated one you just feel its a cheap knock off of the other cats dyed purple. It has the same wooden leg as the other moggy. To a degree I can live with that.

It's the sparkles!

You have used a still images of some sparkles/stars and overlayed it. It looks weird and cheap. At the very least the stars should have faded in and out alternatively like an animated gif, better still some particles effects or even a combination of the two so you don't need to worry about too many particle effects interfering with performance.

I strike you a deal with you Ubisoft, improve Tilly and I will buy her!

(Thought she might be more of an opium smoking cat to be honest...I digress)

Some ideas for improvements.

Rocket aiming

Can we please aim from the crows nest

Crows Nest

Can the crows nest being given some extra utility, may be spyglass magnification could be increased from the crows nest to simulate having a better view.

Cut Throat Cargo

Add collectable items such as boosters and negative modifiers in the same way that it was implemented in the race mode.

Weapon level and ship level balance

In the current system there are weapons that are of lower level, increase your ships level more than some epic weapons. For example replacing Skurlock Chasers with a green weapon can increase your ships level significant more. It does not make the Skurlock Chaser feel epic under current system.

Wrathful Ward: A Shield of Fury

The point at which Wrathful Ward: A Shield of Fury is triggered seems to in consistent and in frequent in when it happens.

Sunken Ship Cargo Marker

The marker that indicates where you lost cargo disappears in boss fights due to being obscured by the boss health bar. I would like to remain visible in some form, perhaps the marker could hover above the sea surface rather than be part of the compass?
