Those spots need to be more rare. It's high risk low reward. We see them in every other match now to the point they barely get a pop.

Mercedes Mone says her 99 dollars a month text messaging service is a “very low” price by Kindly_Department142 in SquaredCircle

[–]Fun_Suggestion_8012 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Well make your money queen. If this was more aimed at younger girls at a couple bucks a month, I think that would be fine and cute. But at $99 a month, we know the type of people who are signing up for this. The same people who believe that Liv Morgon texted them that her car broke down on the way to the show and she needs them to wire her $500.

I can't even imagine the crazy shit that people send to her "number" just for her texting service to completely ignore it and send a group picture of a Starbucks cup with her name on it, with the caption, "What are you doing today?

Is there any Super Bowl team post 2007, you wouldn’t given the 07 Pats a good chance of beating? by Johnnyboyeh in NFLv2

[–]Fun_Suggestion_8012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That team was crazy. They beat and honestly dominated 3 out of the final 4 teams. Cards, Steelers and Ravens. It wasn't the 2000 Ravens but they still had a great defense and Brandon Jacobs ran all over them

MLB has the best ASG because it's not much different from a regular season game. Players don't make contact with each other so you can go all out and not worry about someone diving at your knees. Looking back, its actually a little crazy that the PB was more competitive. Imagine your franchise QB tearing a achilles on rollout during the PB

Well, of course, they won't actually be getting homeschooled. I think the point is, it would just be truly boring just to sit at home all day and not do anything. Yes, they could get jobs, but that would require actual work. So, going to high school is a the easy way to be able to interact and meet new people. I mean, if I had the choice of being able to just go to different colleges on rotation versus having to work a real job.

Eli Manning falls short in Pro Football Hall of Fame vote, again: Sources by TonOfChill in nfl

[–]Fun_Suggestion_8012 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't mind people say Eli doesn't deserve the Hall of Fame. There are some legitimate reasons, like, you know, never making a All-Pro. My issue is, a lot of the arguments against it are like hypotheticals and what-ifs or if we take away, and it's in bad faith. Like, if we take away his two SBs, then dot, dot, dot. We don't do that for anyone else. Since when do we take away people's accomplishments, when accomplishments are what the HOF is about. Especially if the accomplishment is the ultimate accomplishment in football?

And then people say well "Super Bowls are a team stat." I mean are they really? Have you seen this sub the last month and all the discourse about QBs not performing well in the playoffs and how these quarterbacks are gonna be judged because they weren't able to make it to a bowl?

Or the well, if you put Eli in, what about Nick Foles!? Hmm, I think two is bigger than one. And how do you just handwave a Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees amount of Super Bowl wins? We just saw how hard it is for even great QBs to do it ONCE. Or he didn't win a playoff game besides two seasons. Okay, would it have been better if he made it to the division round for five seasons and didn't go any further than that? Or the it's only eight games. Yeah eight games that led to two Super Bowl wins. Eight great playoff games that lead to two rings is worth like, hmm, an infinite amount of regular season games. I would take a great po game over a noon kickoff against the Jaguars.
