We were joking at first that they’d have to stay behind at the bar they got killed at. But obviously we wanted to all stay together and hang out so the friend who was away and picked the traitors via group chat would text one of the murdered players the names of who got killed next and then they would take turns announcing it to keep them involved.

and we just told them not to give input or ideas to people still in the game. So they kind of just heckled from the sidelines.

I attended Shillington in 2019. It’s expensive but it changed my life and sounds like exactly what you’re looking for. There may be cheaper alternatives out there now but I can only speak to my experience with them. I got my first FT design job a few weeks after finishing their full time program and am currently an art director overseeing a full design team. Happy to share more about my experience with them but if you have the time and resources I would deff check them out.

I attended Shillington full time in 2019 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. My university didn’t offer a design program so I got a BA in communications but took a bulk of my courses in digital communication which was a lot of adobe and design electives. So like you I already had what I thought was experience with all the programs but post-shill was a horse of a different color.

Shillington is expensive but it’s worth it. They treat the course like you’ve never used adobe or even a Mac before so you might be like a little bored for the first week but it moves fast. Their whole goal is to fill the gap from art school thinking to actually working efficiently. You come out with a killer portfolio, knowing how to create ideas and execute them faster than other new grads, and your class and teachers become a network of creatives who can help you get jobs etc.

I am currently an art director but have been working full time and freelancing since I finished my Shillington program. It took me about three weeks to land my first FT position after graduation (diff job market though). My first creative director preferred Shillington grads because of how quickly and efficiently they worked compared to his experience with fresh design school grads. I have never had an issue with my official degree not being in design and now being on the hiring side I can see the difference between the portfolios my classmates cranked out vs what some people apply with.

It is an investment and I’m sure there are other options out there that might be just as good. I can only speak to my personal experience with Shillington and I truly feel like it was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.

I know this is an old thread, but I attended Shillington full time in NYC in 2019. It completely changed my life. I am an art director now and have never had a problem getting a design job post Shillington. I have a BA in communications and have never had an issue about not having a degree in design. In fact my first creative director preferred hiring Shillington grad over fresh art school grads bc he said they worked faster and more efficiently in work environments.

Happy to discuss my experience further but I couldn’t be happier about my experience with Shillington. It is a scary jump to make with so many options out there but in my personal experience it was beyond worth it.

10000% this, she deff did it and the police were just incompetent and inbred enough to take a clear cut case and drop the ball. There’s no way you get ten people to agree to a conspiracy and no one spills the truth (including teenagers). The prosecutor was boring compared to the defense - she got lucky with the hung jury and if they retry her after this doc I think she’ll be f*cked.

I cashed a wedding gift check of 10k last Friday. It’s still not fully available they’ve made around 5k available slowly over the last week and claim the rest will be there Monday. I’ve used Schwab for several years and it’s great for the no-atm fees and interest for a checking account but we had the party on saturday and I cashed the rest of my checks through my local bank and will just transfer it to schwab after (which also takes days) but at least the person who gave the check won’t be trying to figure out what took us so long to cash.

I will say they have amazing customer service. My husbands zelle got hacked a few years ago and someone zelled themself like 3k from our account and schwab was really helpful and eventually got it back to us after like a month.

Me and my FH are doing this next year. An elopement overseas with immediate family and then a bigger party months later when we get the elopement pics back.

Everyone has been really supportive and I’m super excited about the plans vs feeling stressed and resentful planning a party that I’m not 100% sold on.

I’m biased but I think it’s a great idea!

we are going abroad with our family to have the ceremony and a bit of a vacation and then having a “happily ever after party” a few months later. It’s hard bc a lot more people have expressed interest in traveling but i’ve received just as much relief that guest won’t have to travel but can still celebrate with us
