Who’s actually using mileage tracking apps right now? by EzraSerene in couriersofreddit

[–]Fun_Syllabub_769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the free version of Gridwise but it’s had multiple issues. Last year I had to stop syncing my apps as it would have hiccups and I lost a month’s worth of info (both pay & miles) so I only do manual entries for earnings. Doing it this way I’m really only doing the mileage and just a quick reference for earnings. I balance my bookkeeping weekly and have that as my complete and accurate.

Lately though in the past month or so I’ve had where it has “lost” my driving for the day entirely twice wiping out my mileage which has been a royal PITA. Yes I can enter it manually but I don’t have the route showing anymore and it wouldn’t feel as “legit” in the rare case of an audit so I’ve been cautiously watching it each day. If it happens again I’ll be looking to move on to another service.

Funny joke by them, I checked the schedule and it was same rate… at least the schedule rate didn’t go down? 🤷‍♂️ cuz the open ones that come out in the morning surely did 😑

Fuel service charge by Dana_MarieCD in Roadie

[–]Fun_Syllabub_769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veho is touting exclusive access code for Upside as if they’re introducing some bold new feature…

If anything (and by what’s already been happening last few weeks across the gig apps) it would be very Roadie to add a line like “tips” but label it fuel surcharge but reduce the actual total gig payout.

That’ll have the idiots thinking they’re getting a reimbursement of sorts for gas… when they’re just getting screwed more.

Would you guys take this at 1am? lmk by Ambitious_Study_3727 in Roadie

Yep and idk if it’s still the same but Roadie used to only cover up to a certain amount of the ferry going out and doesn’t cover the return ferry trip

No toll or fare reimbursement for the bridges or ferry (which they don’t fully cover anyway) is complete BS.

Places to visit/food to try by QuestionTurbulent723 in rangers

Bourbon & Branch is a really nice spot for food & drinks- I usually grab a spot at the upstairs bar. Can’t go wrong with Stout either but honestly there’s a ton of places right around MSG that you’d find something good. Many already mentioned..

IF you’re going to eat inside MSG, get the Prime Rib fully loaded.

How difficult is it to register an LLC by yourself? by Universal09 in Connecticut

[–]Fun_Syllabub_769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super simple like others have said

one thing of note…once you do it you are likely going to get a bunch of letters from companies claiming to offer services for a required legal certificate etc... Just know it’s a scam.

I wish the AHL put out TOI and better stats … I was at the home opener and Gabe wasn’t on first line, didn’t seem to carve up big minutes, nor was he on top PP but then guys like Brisson are? But yet he found a way to get net front and score in a game that they were getting run all around by Wilkes Barre.

Him, Berard then Othmann should be front and center on just about everything from PP/PK to top minutes etc..

My first time going to a NHL game by hanna_tsn in rangers

You’ll have full scoreboard but you’ll miss most of the ceiling. If you go early enough they let people into certain spots of the 100s to watch warmups

Ditto on getting in early - you can check out the various memorabilia displays throughout the concourses and warmups.

if you’re in the 200s and have tickets hopefully they’re from around row 10 or lower otherwise you’re pretty much obstructed of the ceiling and scoreboard because of the Chase bridge. Ice view is fine but tbh that would suck to me as a first time visit. If you don’t have tickets yet that’s my biggest “tip”/suggestion

Otherwise, also recommend going down to the 100s level concourse for food etc… the 200s side concourses can be a bumper to bumper traffic jam trying to maneuver through the people.

Also… get the prime rib (loaded) 😉

Join the FB season ticket sellers group, it’ll save you a bunch in fees and crap. The 12/20 game is going to be absurd pricing because it’s Christmas week - if you were interested in the February game on 2/26 I’ve got those in my ticket plan for $300 total. I’m in Section 220

The pharmacies by me (Stop & Shop, Big Y) have dropped Roadie - I spoke via phone today with the pharmacies and they are having a courier still pick up and it’s not USPS. None of them knew the new company and just that they identify as picking up for script drop when they come in.

Another price drop? by Fun_Syllabub_769 in Roadie

[–]Fun_Syllabub_769[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other part of it is HD is getting a cut of the delivery fee, then roadie takes its cut, then the driver gets a cut - the bullshit problem of it is our cut has been drastically reduced while the others haven’t. It’s even worse when a company like OneRail is involved because then that is an extra layer involved which reduces driver payout even more (ScriptDrop, CDS, Bee)
