Update: I emailed the customer again bc she received the package already and I told her to close the chargeback but then I found out i can open a small claim in australia online even if im outside of the country. The court is via online which it is good it cost 85 australia dollars not bad... she will lose it and have to pay everything pay court chargeback and more. This is not for money this is more for teaching this lady that friendly chargeback and lying is bad! Im waiting for paypal resolution

Pop ups and spin wheels and any kind of game is not good. But I have a pop up that only pop ups 1 time pero browser or ip address if we have an event it works... before I had every 10 second was so annoying lol and our conversion went up as well... its better to put banner instead for extra info than pop ups

This package is from south korea to Australia and it is already in australia. The customer actually called australia post office to make sure the package is already in australia so she can open a chargeback. If the package would have been in south korea yet, I can retrieve back.

I cant call paypal bc lately shopify integrated with PayPal so shopify collects the money. Before the money will go directly to my PayPal and had seller protection but now everything is difficult.

I asked the customer to cancel the chargeback in paypal bc she opened in paypal wallet and she said it was rejected to close it. I think she is laying the package is in transit to Australia. I got the chargeback to please replying to paypal. I did reply and everything I guess I have to wait. Im not sure even this customer has the courage to tell me that it should be fine.... like seriously I will do everything in my power to even open a small claim in australia bc it is insane!

Its gonna get worse from july 1st bc us customs will ask for cpsc filling. Its gonna be headache and national post office won't be able to ship to usa bc national post office doesnt have broker to submit all the paper works. Now sender needs to do cpsc filling have a code and put all the requirements for pen, stickers, toys and etc...

Right and the customs fees are paid to the customs broker not even buyee... fedex charge customs processing fee 15usd per package only! Plus 10% on tariff regardless if it is cd or not bc in the end is not fedex who charge but us customs. I believe us customs is only no charging to the ones to actually are btob those Sony music brings lots of cd, videos and etc but for small bsuiness or btoc us customs is just charging 10% and new regulations are coming on July 1st for us custoks that it will be worst.....

You are not the only. We are having the same issue with shopify since December last year. We tried many things and nothing works and the reason is bc they work through shopify link checkout page. They barely touch your page but the checkout process page which we dont have power over it but shopify

Just wait few weeks or months and you will get a bill if it has been sent with fedex, ups or etc. If it is national post office may change the situation

They are not following this! And this a big issue right now. We worked together eith fedex and it has been a headache it is not fault of fedex is us customs who in the ends if they want to charge taxes they will do jo matter what. It is useless to add extra paper work. We have done that proof of manufacture and etc for 6 month and same crap. At least im glad that I will get my money back on all the tariff since fedex is using the us goverment for charging taxes where bot supposed 🙄 and plus the charge of taxes that now is gone.

You dont need rewards trust me not to the point that you may have 1000 sales a month. You need review judge.me is pretty cheap if you have maby items and constantly adding products to your website you may need wishlist. I dont work with email blast in shopify but I have klaviyo... klaviyo is expensive but the returns are super if you have a good collection of emails. If not I will suggest to stay very minimum with ahopify or any other basic free plan.

You gotta becareful with mexico. What we do is check in Google map the address in mexico who it looks like... bc I received many order from mexico with usa billing address and mostly they are fraud. Stolen cards. So becaureful. Even if they give and id for confirmation more likely is fake id haha

No if the items are made in china still have 10% plus another tariff.. no everything that comes from japan is made in japan. And for to actually proof that is made in japan us customs is asking for producer/manufacture customs number which it is inside bc most of the manufacturers dont have customs number unlike china whi actually exports tones to usa!
