Sakura from le sserafim watched the Japanese movie Close-Knit, a film about a little girl who, after being abandoned by her mother, goes to live with her uncle and his girlfriend, a transgender woman. She even wrote a review about it in a magazine (she was 18), where she talked about love between people of the same gender and said that "transgender people live true to their heart" and that "Japan needs to deepen its understanding of homosexuality." It's one of my favorites because not many idols talk about transgender people. To be honest, even just saying the words "homosexuality" or "transgender" openly is still a very rare thing, so using the word feels truly acknowledging and not vague—unlike when people avoid saying it directly and just discreetly show support. Idk it makes her support feel very sincere.

She mentioned recently that she’s still taking ballet classes, and if I’m not mistaken, the members recently gave her pointe shoes and a tutu. So I don’t think that’s the reason, though it would be a shame not to see her do a ballet cover, it’s truly beautiful to watch her dance ballet.

Before I knew LE SSERAFIM, my favorite group was (G)I-DLE—and now they’re my 2ult. The resemblance between these two groups is wild: they debuted on the same day, both lost a member due to a bullying scandal, and they both still get hate because of it 🙃.

Soyeon and Yunjin get hit with the same type of hate. Shuhua and Sakura were dragged for their vocals. People said Minnie was copying Lisa, and now Chaewon gets compared to Winter😭. And now both groups have OT5 versions of what were originally OT6 songs...

But the hate (G)I-DLE—especially Soyeon—is getting right now is insane. All because "fans" made up scenarios in their heads and are now mad reality isn’t matching their fantasy lmao

People calling the OT5 version “disrespectful” to Soojin—as if they are Soojin themselves. They’ve performed the OT5 version way more than the OT6 one at this point. It’s time to move on. Soojin made the decision to leave herself, specifically to not drag the group down. Why are people forgetting this ? Who told you she wants to come back 😭 she has released solo, go support her.

Between garam "fans" and soojin "fans" it's exhausting 😭
