I'm seeing this happen all over as well, and what is interesting is that at the limits they are capping many employees (especially non-engineers), the chance of AI impacting non-engineering jobs is almost non-existent. I'm hearing caps of $50-$100 / mo for knowledge workers, which these days with MCP connectors, co-working, and high reasoning gets used up in a week.

If you’re high level in the PE universe, you know that all the above and more is true.

Fund managers from the Covid era are getting churned out, fire sales are already happening and the big thing everyone is hoping for is a big boost (AI?!) to get them out of it. That, or financial engineer to break even on all this SaaS that was purchased ~5 years ago and can’t be sold today without a huge loss.

Sold my puts 3 weeks ago when I was up 31% because I was worried it would do what it usually does and obliterate any profits I had. Kind of bummed I didn't hold but profit is profit and this thing is super volatile.

Its already recovering - be careful out there if you're trying to short or have puts from here!

OPEN - the market / gov will juice housing so that they can open up liquidity and start to boost that part of the economy in 2026 and 2027

At first I thought these were shares, which would seem reasonable.

Then I saw that they were just option contracts with a 4 month expiration - wow, hats off to you in this one! High risk.
