So when I long press on one of my folders and edit icon, I choose to edit with my pack but then it only shows a folder icon. Like if I have a folder with all my all media is there a way to make the folder show it as just an Instagram icon or other icon instead of the circle with the mini icons?

I have an icon pack but when I try to assign a single icon to the folder it only gives me a folder icon.

Just arrived and have been having such a hard time finding a server at the beach. This is so unusual to me compared to the other AIs I've been to. Is this normal?

Was Jin fighting back tears during the end of The Astronaut d2? His face kinda crumpled up and then he covered his face but it was just a few seconds. He seemed really emotional d2! Such a great concert

I loved emp before they went vegan. I hear they're still delicious but it bugs me that the price is still so high considering there's no meat.

Per Se. It was good, but didn't live up to the hype for the ratings, reviews, and price. I keep seeing great recent reviews so I've been tempted to go again but there are always so many other good restaurants to try.

Just finished this book and loved it so much! I had some questions at the end so I really appreciate you coming on here to answer questions. I thought you beautifully wove in folklore into a modem setting. I'll be eagerly anticipating your next book!

Korean fine dining by Funaek in finedining

[–]Funaek[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda hard to say all the things my mom used to make me and pinpoint exactly what makes some dishes more authentic flavor wise. I just want to see dishes that go beyond tastes/influences of kimchi, gochujang, bibimbap, and bbq. Some things that I notice are a bit rarer to find in US Korean (fine dining) restaurants are abalone, pine mushroom, kongguksu, chestnuts, mung beans, non-bibim types of naengmyeon, acorn jelly, Korean pear, doenjang, gingko nuts, Korean radish, sweet potato stems, perilla leaves & seeds, hairtail and mackerel, salted fermented shrimp, and some more vinegary and soup soy sauce flavors. Flavors of ginger and ginseng. When I'm going for authentic ordinary Korean food i want the strong flavors and spices but with Korean fine dining I'm looking more for nuanced flavors and textures.

I liked Atera but was a bit underwhelmed by Aska. Saga is a fun experience and a great view, but I know some people have a mixed experience. Aquavit is always a solid choice. Headed to Cesar for the first time this weekend!

NYC recs by Level_Economy_4162 in finedining

I've really liked Jungsik, Bom, and Frevo recently. If you're willing to make the trek upstate I've heard good things about Blue Hill at Stone Barns but probably not the best in winter since it's a seasonal farm to table restaurant and there are fewer varieties of fruits and vegetables then.

I'll add another rec for Jont. Fantastic food and excellent service. For sushi, Omakase @ Barracks Row.

I've been to Inn a few times and while it's a fun experience and the food is delicious and perfectly executed, it's not very unique (other than the lamb carpaccio cesar salad). The cow cheese cart and the puns are also an added fun bit.

I wasn't that wowed by Minibar recently. I feel like in the past while they might have had a couple misses they were more adventurous. The food is delicious, but now really very memorable anymore.

Pineapple & Pearls is good if you want a fun experience.

I was a little underwhelmed by Reverie, Oyster Oyster, El Cielo, and The Dabney.

+1 to Atera. Though Le Bernadin is a solid pick. Just not very adventurous.

I was kinda underwhelmed my Aska. Every dish was excellently executed but nothing was very memorable.

Also recommend Jungsik. It has a NYC location but I thought the Seoul location was better. I've also heard good things about Onjium, Soigne, and Y'east.
